So I have one putter that I push putts slightly to the right (I don't with any of my other putters).  What does that indicate, as far the as toe hang/offset go?

thanks!

Could be different alignment aid and/or head shape changing how your eyes line up the putt.

I'd figure out your eye dominance and go from there. Lots of good resources once you figure out eye dominance.

try a face balanced putter.
Could be as simple as the toe not squaring the face in time.
Toe down = heavy, slow toe=late to square.

Two things for me. One, a face balanced putter always misses right. I must not give it time to close or something. Two, if my lower body starts to move, I miss right as well. So, toe hang putter like an Anser, and a perfectly still lower body...

What putter do you miss right with?  What putter do you not miss right with?  There are many reasons why this could happen.

a toe hang putter can have a slight tendency to leave the face open during the transition, pushing your putt to the right.
Also, check ball position and make sure your hands are not "flipping" the face open through the impact zone (ie your left hand should always be dominant).

Hope this helps

Thanks for all the tips.  The putter I was pushing was a taylormade spider si slant. Head weighs 380 and has a factory 124g grip on it. It's a counterbalance putter stating 31-35" length. Overall it's about 35.25" I think. Lie is 70, loft is 2.5.

My other putters I don't push are the golo, 6m, er2, etc.

My guess is it's the loft being 2.5, rather than 3.5. Possibly the heavy head too based on statements made earlier. I've spent a lot of time with it do I don't think it's my eyes aligning it wrong.

Thanks again for all the input.

Assuming all else is equal in your stance and ball position, differences in weight and/or toe hang would be places to start, along with having someone double check your alignment.

Also, are grips the same?

It's not the loft.

Like 3 others have suggested, move the ball slightly forward. With some putters because of the position of the hosel on the head, you may need to change ball position.

Check your hands at address - make certain shaft is not leaning forward or backwards.

With this putter, make sure arms do not get off the body - keep 'em tight to body.

All the other putters are mostly faced balanced. The Spider is a slant neck with toe hang. Try a smaller pistol counterbalanced grip which will make it easier to release the putter. The logical thing unless you love the look is avoid putters that aren't close to face balanced. Do you have a mostly SBST stroke?

What makes you want to keep this putter vs your others that you putt straight?

I'd guess weight or offset. I put well with 3/4 shaft offset. More or less gets tough without making other adjustments to compensate.

What SwingMan said...most players that I coach that are pushing putts have the shaft leaning backwards...at worse, it should be straight up and down.   Close your right eye and let your left eye look down the shaft...or use a mirror.

It may not fit you. You could have a fitter look at it and see if it can be adjusted. If the fitter tells you eye dominance has anything to do with it, leave. That is all a bunch of golfer fables. Zero scientific evidence to support it. Nothing.

The whole belief that right-handed players who are left-eye dominant (that's me) perform better with no-offset or center-shafted putters is baloney. They might, but it is random or placebo effect if a player believes it.

The Edel fitter I went to said they hear the eye-dominance theories all  the time and it is not borne out in fittings. The problem is you cant talk people out of it, he said. People are very individual regardless of eye dominance. I was fit into a full-shaft offset wide blade (Rogue head) with 1 degree of loft and 1 degree flat, moderate toe hang. I was always a pretty good putter, but my make rate went up considerably because I can roll it where I think I am aiming it.
Current lineup:

Callaway Rogue driver, 9 degree, Project X Evenflow Blue S, 75g.
Callaway XR16 3 wood, 15 degree, Fukijura Evo II shaft
Callaway Apex hybrid, 20 degree, Kuro Kage 80HY stiff shaft

Mizuno S5 gap wedge, 50.08, Nippon 1150 GH Tour shaft
Wilson Staff PMP Tour wedge, 56 degree, tour grind, KBS Hi-Rev 2.0 shaft
Fourteen RM12 58.12 sand wedge, Dynamic Gold wedge shaft
Edel Rogue putter (thick blade), 34 inch, 71 degree lie, 2 degrees loft.
COMING: TaylorMade Hi-Toe wedge, 60 degree

Means have to focus more on the face angle than the stick or the grip handle
Sometimes I have remind myself by wiping the putter blade rather than doing the tapping motion
It’s there no break and if goes left maybe try to squat down and grab the putter face down so it feel more straight and down when you set up
