I saw some last year at the club but they were $24.99 / pr.
Spun from baby Alpaca wool.
If they are out again next year I will buy one pair just to see how they are.

Lol.  If you can't pick out socks without help, I hope you are getting rides to the course.

Seriously, for me when riding it doesn't matter.  When walking I usually go with some thin wool hiking socks (if they are made for putting in real miles they surely work for a jaunt around the course).

Edit: I could care less what underoos or socks Tour players are wearing.

The guys crapping on this thread are hilarious.  Whatís wrong with finding out about a brand you may have never heard of?  The boxer thread is the same way, just because I posted in it doesnít mean I couldnít pick out my own underwear.  Iíd have never heard of companies like 2undr and now itís all I wear, thanks to threads like these.  I could argue itís more beneficial than finding out what tour players have in their bag, that wonít apply to your below average swing speed or double digit handicap.

I would think Footjoy are one of the most popular on tour.
As you walk down the fairway of life you must smell the roses, for you only get to play one round.

Just curious if anyone knows what most players prefer. I have tried a lot of them and still not sold on a particular type. Prefer ankle ones that stay put and are barely visible but I am having trouble finding some. The Balega Hidden Comforts stretch badly. Any thoughts including the questions in my title would be great!

Curious in the few responses who say Kentwools suck. So many people love them?

For me nothing tops the Swiftwick Vibe Zero. Absolutely the best.
I would play barefoot if I could, but these fit the bill.
If you like a bit more cushion, the Swiftwick Maxus Zero, and the Balega Hidden Comfort are also fantastic, but the Vibe is my main go to.
Found the Kentwools to be nice but to much cushion, and will only wear when cooler.

Because Footjoy is a major sponsor for golf and there's probably a lot of guys who get them for free? It's a decent educated guess.

Going with Stance as well, not for any real reason, I don't think they are vastly better than buying some Champion or Fila socks at Gordmans, but I like the designs and they fit well. I did the monthly sub where you get 2 pairs for 19 bucks. Fun getting something different every month.

I don't even own a pair of cotton socks anymore. Wool is superior in every category but durability IMO. The durability can be addressed by buying Smartwool or Darn Tough.... both will replace your socks.

Thanks for all the feedback. Ordered a pair of Kentwool and Swift. Gonna give Stance a try as well. Agree that people bashing this thread are absurd. I find it useful to know what players and caddies wear to walk a round almost every day of their life. I promise it matters to them. Most of mine slide down heel so this is very helpful.
