Growing up I'm sure many of us used to chew sunflower seeds while we were playing baseball.  Today many people chew them while they play golf as well.  I have always been a big seeder for whatever reason you can most likely find me walking around the golf course with a cheek filled with sunflower seeds, and see the unimaginable route that I took around the golf course.  So for those of us out there who are like me what flavor seeds are your go to?

I will always experiment with different flavored seeds as well right now though my current go to is Davids Sweet and Salty

Also anyone ever had Jim Bean BBQ? Definitely a hidden gem of a seed that has become extremely hard to find.

Disclaimer: Please spit responsibly that means do not spit on greens or tees

Dill flavored "BIGS". A little more expensive that Davids but a much higher quality product.

Tired of seeing the results of seed spitting on our greens.  Some players love to grow the game.  I love them but don't spit them on the greens or tee boxes.

You have my attention, what are BIGS?  Are they with Old Bay Seasoning?

I eat seeds on the course a good bit and coach baseball, so ya know.... My go to is David's black pepper. I think Big's has a black pepper and sea salt that is solid as well. Dot really do any beside those and regular salted, I'm a picky eater.

David original jumbo seeds are my favorite. I used to like ranch and BBQ but not so much anymore. Love the salt.

I like the dill. Also, Dakota ranch, and black pepper.
I never spit the hulls on the ground.
My choice is to spit in an empty water bottle.
When full, screw the lid on and trash  it.
I worked at a place one time where employees were spittting hulls in the floor. They said I was ok, because I spit mine in an old soda bottle.

If you haven't I suggest trying the sweet and spicy another good combination, but the sweet and salty are definitely superior to them.

I mean no one asked you to be in this forum you involved yourself in it.

To be honest I think you should reevaluate somethings if a few stray sun flower seeds bother you this much. I mean they are part of nature to an extent. I grew one once out of a bbq seed so they aren’t artificial.  It’s not like it’s people leaving dip spit or cigar ash on a green both of which kill the green. Or people who do not properly dispose of broken tees and then they get caught in the fine lawn mowers used to groom tee box’s that end up damaging them and in some cases end up leading to oil spills which again kills the tee.

There are so many things that people do that ruin golf courses that getting ^that infuriated over a few sun flower seeds seems silly. For all you know birds might be dropping them but at least they do not damage the golf course.

I agree though don’t spit them on greens but no reason to get that butt hurt about it. I’m sure that most of us seeders don’t even consider that.

It’s the old saying of if you don’t have anything nice to say don’t say it at all.

**insert sarcasm emoji**
Prob the same guy who yells at the trees for leaves on the green.... I mean you would think the trees have enough courtesy to atleast not drop their leaves on the golf course. Yeesh...

Also those people who hit bunker shots greenside who splash sand on the green... How dare them not carry a broom and sweep it back off the green..

My seed of choice is no seed.  I apologize if my stance bothers a few.
