Not much golfing going on here in in January so figured I would start my WITB thread.

After tons of testing, here is what finished in the bag in 2017 (non-standard specs in parentheses):

Callaway GBB Epic 8° - Aldila SYNERGY Graphene Tour PROTO 65 TX (44.5", Animal Style, D4) / TaylorMade Tour Issue M1 440 7* - Mitsubishi Kuro Kage Dual Core XT 60 TX (44.5")
Callaway GBB Epic 14.5° - Fujikura ATMOS Tour Spec Blue 7 Stiff (42.5", D3)
Callaway Big Bertha OS 18° - Project X HZRDUS Black Hybrid 85 6.0 (D2)
Callaway Epic 22° - Graphite Design Tour AD DI Hybrid 85 Stiff
PXG 0311T 5-PW - Nippon N.S. PRO Modus3 Tour 120 Stiff (+0.5", 1.0° Strong, 2.0° Upright)
Vokey SM6 Raw 50.08°F - Nippon N.S. PRO Modus3 Tour 120 Stiff (+0.5", 1.0° Upright)
Vokey SM6 Raw 55.09°S - Nippon N.S. PRO Modus3 Tour 120 Stiff (+0.5", 1.0° Upright)
Vokey SM6 Raw 60.08°M - Nippon N.S. PRO Modus3 Tour 120 Stiff (+0.5", 1.0° Upright)
Scotty Cameron 009M Carbon

Wilson Staff Duo Urethane / Srixon Q-Star Tour

FootJoy Pure Touch Limited
Sun Mountain C130

Some current testing and potential changes for 2018:
  • Driver: I am close to fully moving to the M1 440 paired with the Synergy or KK DC XT. I am getting much better spin and distance numbers with this on the LM but need to confirm on course once it warms up to fully knock the Epic out of the bag. May test the M3 440, Rogue, and F8+ at some point later in the year.
  • 3 Wood: Will look to test the Rogue and Cobra offerings, may move to Tensei Pro Blue 70TX
  • 3 Hybrid: Definitely looking to upgrade this, will test the Rogue and Cobra offerings, most likely will move to AD DI or Evenflow hybrid shaft, perhaps something else.
  • 4 Hybrid: None.
  • Irons: Will combo out the 5-7 irons with 0311 and may hard step all shafts. May flatten lie angle.
  • Wedges: May switch back to a V grind in the LW, may test Modus 115 wedge specific shafts. May flatten lie angle.
  • Putter: Tour Rat is pictured because my recently acquired 009M is in the custom shop getting a new CT pistolini and having the loft and lie adjusted to 3.5* and 70*. Should be back soon (will add pics), definitely will stick with that.
  • Ball: Most likely none, may play some Pro V1s here or there.
  • Grips: Most likely none.
  • Glove: None.
  • Apparel: None.
Would love any questions/comments/suggestions!

I have both drivers at D4, I like a heavier swingweight. Had to actually add some lad tape to the M1 440 as well since the hot melt keeps coming out on shaft adapters.... guess that is what you get for buying from eBay.

Nope, only the original hybrid outside of the irons. Which performed well but didn't suit my eye for some reason.
