Was originally taking a father/son trip to St. Augustine to the golf hall of fame and play some golf.  Ended up booking Reunion Resort in Kissimmee, Florida.  We are playing golf Friday/Saturday.  Any recommendations on which 2 courses to play from Palmer, Watson, or Nicklaus course?  This will be during the first two rounds of March Madness, any recommendations for good pubs around to watch some hoops?

Used to go here for training trips and several college tournaments. Not much in the way of pubs to watch the games. The property is on its own for the most part but there are some local chain restaurants nearby. Courses are great. I would recommend all three. The watson and nicklaus are the "better" courses; however, the nicklaus in my opinion is a little tricked up / gimmicky. Watson is a solid layout. Nothing wrong with Palmer just a little bland

The Watson course is my favorite.  The Nicklaus course was in a different location on property. We enjoyed both the Palmer and Watson, and the staff was over the top, just a great place to play.

Watson and Palmer hands down. Nicklaus doesn't even have a Clubhouse, it is a nice course but was in very poor shape the last time I was there and definitely not as fun to play as the other two. There is a brand new Millers Ale house right down the street which would be your best bet in the area to catch the games.

I played all three courses a few years ago, all were nice but I clearly preferred Watson and Palmer over Nicklaus.

We are booked for Fri at 12:50 on the Palmer course, and Sat 1:20 on the Nicklaus course.  Going to try and play an extra nine each day.  Hopefully they'll let us play Watson for that.

As mentioned the Watson course should be your 1st choice, then Palmer.

I guess I'll be the contrarian. The Nicklaus is the harder of the three. If you like Jack's courses, you'll appreciate it. The other two felt more or less the same. I'd suggest Nicklaus simply because it's different.

This probably does not matter to you, but the Reunion Resort is up more sale.  CBRE is the broker.

I like Salamander Resorts; they have always provided me with fantastic service and good course conditions, very surprised.
