Interesting...not a huge fan based on asthetics alone.

I really wish that golfworks would make something with a much squarer leading edge, like the P730 or the Nike Vapor Pro Comboss...just not a huge fan of the rounded look. To each his own no doubt these will perform well!

Just some minor tweaking and the lofts will match Eye2, just one club stronger.

MOI is pretty low for a club like this - 12.5.  Ping iblade and i-series are over 14.

i agree  44 wedge?

48  gap wedge

guess i  could hit the wedge  120 and the gap 110

leaves big gaps  below  that, need 52 also

I'd bend the PW to 45 and A/G to 50.  The lofts would then be right in the sweet spot these days (compared to most other clubs anyway).

So what does this mean feel wise? Are they more like cast irons for feel/durability?

8620 steel is being used, just like a Vokey wedge, so you can expect feel to be good.  Maybe not as soft as 1025 steel heads, but close.  Durability will be similar to other carbon steel clubs.  Not to the level of a harder stainless head though.

They should play identical from the chrome to black but the black should be a harder iron given the finish. I would expect them to feel just a slight bit harder at contactvif that makes sense. That's how all. The other models play with those two finishes

I appreciate that comparison. For me it's really just a cosmetic debate with myself. I like the black and would probably choose that, but to test the iron I'd have to buy the silver finish. That prevents finishing the set from the "test" club unless I stayed with silver. Your pictures, though, have me really torn between the two and it opens back up the idea of ordering one to build and test before committing to the entire set. I just have to decide if silver is the way I would want to go. I love my current irons, so I probably won't do either, but the specs on these really really tick a lot of boxes for what I like in an iron design.

They are already in stock yowzers.....can you comment on the leading edge grind....looks to be a nice blunted leading edge or is that just the shadow?

Thx for posting pics, real world pics miles better than the studio pics on the site!
