Don't try to project your feelings of disrespect on other people and organizations.  Maybe they don't feel disrespected?

I have no problem with it at all and think it looks great, BUT every private club I know of in my area would not let you on wearing that. Certainly not saying that is right, just saying it is a fact.

They're not exactly playing in your area, though are they.

Does anyone actually think a kid who was looking at golf and not being interested in it, will look at Rickie with an untucked Hawaiian shirt and think, yeah that is the sport for me?

Does anyone actually think that they know what kids are actually thinking?

What are you talking about?? all I am saying is while I think the look is fine many clubs  require you have your shirt tucked in, feel sure that is not just where I live.

Love this style BUT there should be a 1st tee check: Take your club, go to your follow through. If I can see your gut, go buy a longer shirt.

Good look for an opening round in Hawaii. If you can pull it off go for it. Some people would've looked stupid in that outfit and hence why they don't even try to pull it off.

I'm all for the untucked look. The problem is 90% of men don't know how to buy shirts that fit properly, so they look like slobs with shirts that are way too long.

Does remind me of one of those Professional Bowlers, but I kind of like it. Better than that Orange, unless he went with a untucked orange button up.

Nah, they’d kiss his a** all day long and use the photo-op for something cool to hang in the foyer, then kick you off the course the next day for wearing the same thing.

While I wouldn’t condone sleeveless Grateful Dead tee shirts and cutoff jean shorts on the course, I do think golf snobs could lighten up a bit.

Exactly, your private club has the right, and perhaps responsibility to set dress code standards, Rickie's dress has nothing to do with those dress codes. The PGA Tour has policies and it appears to me this shirt is OK with them.

I like it.  I'd totally wear the untuckit shirts to play in.  At least LPGA gets to wear something more appropriate for making a swing.

I agree, it seems that the PGA Tour is good with his shirt selection for this tournament.  I would think this attire is very typical for a round of golf anywhere in Hawaii.

The PGA Tour should be focusing on keeping their Title Sponsors happy and signing on the dotted line.  Now if Sentry happened to not like the Hawaiian shirt look and mentioned to the Tour Commissioner they would not be renewing their position, I'm sure the PGA Tour would address the issue with the players.........money talks!

When I see someone with their shirt untucked, I'm taking a close look to see if there is a slight print of a firearm along the waist somewhere.

Looks good on Rickie, wouldn't fly at my club.  The problem with the untucked look is that Rickie is wearing a shirt that is intended to be untucked, too many people will just wear regular button down shirts untucked and look like slobs.

Wow, I thought there'd be more uproar about it. I like the shirt but I'll admit when I first saw him I didn't care for the untucked look. Not gonna ruin my day though.

Looks good on Rickie, wouldn't fly at my club.  The problem with the untucked look is that Rickie is wearing a shirt that is intended to be untucked, too many people will just wear regular button down shirts untucked and look like slobs.
I like the look and I'm all for it. Adidas has a line of golf polos designed to be untucked that I cant wait to try. Sure beats re-tucking all round.

I’ve never understood dressing up to play a game in which mobility is required. Stupid.

If you aren’t wearing pads you tuck. NBA, MLB

Wow, I hadn't been paying attention. I thought NFL still tucked but, as we see here, they don't ; )

He would not be playing at our club dressed like a pimp.

Surely middle aged fat blokes would prefer to wear an untucked short rather than trying to tuck a polo shirt under there gut?
