His WITB is on the Cleveland web site:
Srixon U65, 18* and 20*
Z 965 4-P
Rtx 3 wedges
Z star XV

His driver must be a one off. I can't imagine Jamie using (and keeping the ball on the planet) a driver designed for forgiveness.

It may be a one off but I could of swore I saw where he or Cleveland posted he was using a new Hi Bore

The site says the HB is in his bag.

Also, Dynamic Gold X700!?!?! Wow that's a new one for me.

X7's have been around for a while - they're for the elite of the elite in the shaft loading category. I believe he was playing them hard stepped in his LD days.

I have hit the x7s before. they did not feel that much stiff than x100 just a bit heavier. they were nice though. hard to find.

driver: SRIXON Z745
fairway: NIKE VAPOR 13*
3-4 IRON: MIZZY MP H5 GD AMT X100.
5-PW IRONS: MP5 DG AMT X100
WEDGES; CLEVELAND rtx 3.0 RAW
PUTTER; PING SIGMA G SHEA H
BALL; various, ask me that day.

The way I see it is that he hits his custom Laucnher driver super long then goes to his Cleveland wedges (arguably their strong suit) on most holes.  Lots of good exposure there, plus the Z Star XV is a super long ball that should help the brand as well.  Sounds like a good match to me.

I get what you mean but where will he be getting this exposure? Not likely to see him (often) on TV these days

Just the dedicated page on the website we've all looked at is pretty valuable. I'm also guessing he will be in magazine ads before too long. I'm guessing his contract wasn't for insane $ so it's probably a smart investment. TV time isn't everything and someone playing a certain brands clubs can still pique interest. Albeit, not as much as if they were winning on tv. But don't underestimate the power of online and social media marketing, that's today's world. Regardless of if he's a good tour player or even winning long drive comps anymore, he's still arguably the most widely recognizable name ever associated with long drive. I really don't think this was a bad move for either Jamie, or Cleveland.

Good points, well made 👍

Ehhhh.....seems like you would at least scrounge up a PGA Tour player as your feature.

Experiment seems over. Why he wastes time on the tour when he could be cashing in while he still has flexibility and swing speed on the long drive circuit. Go back to trying the tour when canít do long drive anymore.. Made a very good living on LDA and exhibitions, compared to hardly travel money rarely making cuts. Might be Callaway didnít resign him as they were getting no publicity with him missing cuts versus when he was on the LDA circuit. Canít remember Cleveland even in the launcher days ever having the longest driver in any time frame..

He probably hits those u65's as far as the tour average for driver. With his speed, he probably shouldn't hit as much driver, similar to Finau.

I remember reading that the Cleveland Classic was a underappreciated sleeper in the distance category. I'm wondering if they're going to try to change the perception of the brand more in that direction. A couple years ago, there were a couple bombers playing it and getting good results. (http://www.golfwrx.c...tour-are-using/)

He hit his Callaway Apex UT 18 degree 300 yards.

Is this guy still trying to play regular events? Seems like it might be time for him to pop up again. You know. Heís so much what the tour needs.
