Is the design features in this new putter anything to check out or is it just like everyone elses anser replica?

Based on how the EVNROLL line has performed up to this point, and how well the technology has tested in comparisons, this will definitely be worth a look.

I can say confidently that if it takes the performance and sound/feel of the ER5, and wraps it all up into an Anser 2 shaped package, I'll be picking one up.

I mean the putter looks sexual. I really think that this might be the putter I've always wanted. Based on performance of Evnroll putters and rife putters of the past this might be a home run.

Definitely a good product but unless it feels completely different from the ER1, I personally wouldn't put it in the "soft feeling" camp.  I have found the EVNROLL's to have a hard, almost clicky feel.

There was a batch of ER5 that because of the grain of the metal sounded a bit more clicky than many of the other heads.  The last time I was playing around with putters at the PGA Tour superstore this seemed to no longer be the case.   I did not like the ER1, the ER2 had always been the one I wanted and it did indeed feel very soft.

They fixed the sound issue. At first it was a loud hollow "ting!" but it's much more muted and normal sounding.

Hmmm I don't think ER putters are hard feeling at all. Have you hit a stock Betti BB1 with that really dense grip? Clickiest sound/feel I've ever experienced. A lot of what we perceive as putter feel comes from sound. at impact. Ball can make a big difference, too. Putting with a ProV1x vs a Supersoft is going to make any putter seem more firm.

I could buy that. In fact, the first time I tried one I thought it felt pretty soft but the next few times, it felt much “click-ier”.  Maybe the first just fit me a bit better.

FWIW I do think the E1.1 is a gorgeous putter and I expect it to quickly become one of, if not the, best selling Evnroll putter.

Yes, that original pic was an Anser2 and the last pic was an Anser with a topline.  Wondering if that's the way they will come out at the retail level (with a topline) or if that will be Tour only.
If the Anser style head will come out on the retail level - especially with the topline - then I will definitely give it a try.  I'm encouraged by some of the comments here regarding the change in sound/feel of the Evnrolls.  I wanted to like them, but every time I rolled one I just didn't like the feel of them.  If this Anser style head makes it to the retail stores, I'll give Evnroll another try.  The technology is there, I just hope they can make them feel better.

Pretty surprised to see that as it forgoes the little "two dot" alignment system they say helps with putts that break (note the putter right behind it in the picture).

Appears they are bringing the Anser 2 style to retail, not the Anser pictured above.

Wish they would do a topline, but I'm guessing it will be flange-line only.

That's what I was afraid of.
However, they said that they have a "new" putter that they will be adding to the lineup that will be brought out at the PGA Show.
I'm hoping it's the Anser style head.  ;)

for my part, i only hope that it eill have a line o  the top rather than on the back flange. I would game it with the aligment line on top.

Er1.2 is scheduled for March 1 production.     Check out my thread, I just got one:   http://www.golfwrx.c...0#entry16817530

It was originally suppose to be er1.1 but then they had to do some rebalancing the weight.

Where did you buy it? Not available in retail here in the NY area or on their website.
