I'm amazed they haven't been sued by PXG yet for those screws in the back and for having a black putter.

Mentor Sports Maestro was the 1st one I'd ever seen/owned with those screws.

The ho in me won again and I even paid shipping, which is something I really hate to do. Actually I really wanted was this Adidas belt strap that was $1.50 so it turned out to cost me almost $60... well I also picked up a pair of wind pants since I am already paying shipping... :russian_roulette: :russian_roulette:
Worst come to worst, this CX2 would sit next to the Bettinardi BB-55 as an indoor putting training aid.. Oh wait.. the BB-55 was my gamer for later half of 2017 and was putting lights out.. so maybe I won't be so ashamed to take this out

Woohoo, got a shipping notification. I'm always a little scared that I'll get a "price mistake" when a great deal comes along.

I didn't think it would really should matter, but I did take the $9.99 shipping option instead of the $8.99 option. I was hoping to somehow have it get delivered by this weekend, but mine shows UPS delivery scheduled for Monday, and they never seem to deliver earlier than scheduled to me.

Thanks OP! What a steal! And just like that my New Years resolution of buying only maybe a driving iron this year is broken. At least I made it 48 hours. It's a start.

Edit: not sure why I quoted you?

Will global golf take that many trade ins?

That made me think though, at $40 these wouldn't be half bad as tournament prizes.

I thought about making a HUGE purchase of them, wait until the excitement from this died down, then sell them. Instead I got three so I could get the free shipping. Every time I buy clubs cheap with the purpose of reselling I find out that I hate trying to sell stuff and usually just give away to family/friends or youth golf programs. Selling stuff is a major PITA since I don't derive my living from it and it eats into my leisure/golfing time. Im also not the type that could deal with someone trying to rip me off very well. Reading the stories here I realize that I might never be able to golf again because I'd be locked up after I bludgeoned someone to death with a putter after they scammed me. I'm mostly kidding before anyone reads that too literally. Mostly. I do appreciate and am left in awe with the professional way that some of you handle those situations though.

I've read that they have a 5" blade length.  Is 5" really that big?   Won't know until I hold the stick.

I agree, that doesn't sound huge. Only about 1/2 inch longer right? And it looks OK in pictures. Then you see it in person and it looks HUGE and distracting.

I would like to see them try something in the 4.7ish range with a PN. I think they could get away with that look.

. I seriously did if it works out I'll make some cash on it if not I'll return them and eat the shipping.  Everyone makes out rock bottom gets them off their books and the PGA will resell them higher than they paid me.

I thought about buying ALL of them. Whatever that number might have been up to my credit limit. Which would have been a lot of putters. Since I hate trying to sell stuff for previously mentioned reasons, I didn't. I was Thinking was that with that market dried up, I could have easily got 50.00 plus shipping for the 39.99 model. Then I thought of the aggravation I'd go through and the half year I'd go through trying to sell say 1000-2000 of them, I quickly rethought and just got 3 to get free shipping. I'll probably gift/donate 2 of them, maybe all 3 if I don't like it.

So 10 seems like a lot, but at that price it'd be hard to go too wrong. Like he stated, shipping is the most he'll eat on them. If he flips one of them for 80.00 then he's more than paid for return shipping. Looking for them online it's pretty hard to find another used one for under 100.00 with most new ones on secondary markets going for 140.00 or so.  Pretty low risk, just depends on how much aggravation you're willing to put up with. For me that number is and always has been zero. So I got 3 instead of 3000.

I know with that line of thinking I'll never be a power seller on eBay. Come to think of it I've never even sold 1 item there. Now if they had a "power golf buyer" category.....

I thought about going that route, but I'm thinking if I called the PGA superstore and asked if they wanted to buy 1k+ of them for 50.00 each they'd probably just have their buyer get them from RBG for the 39.99. I didn't really want to be stuck with a huge CC bill and no way to unload them quickly.

Right now the trade in value is 66 plus 15 percent for cash or a bonus of 30% global golf credit almost seems to easy figured I would give it a go.

They're down to one model on the CX2, the black 35". They also have 51 of them left. That's if I don't do anything stupid.....

Which I won't. I hate aggravation so I won't. But if I do, I'll have the market almost cornered on these for 50.00. Decisions decisions. Money? Aggravation? Which will win out?

I'm in for 10 of them just got shopping info
Are you kidding, or did you seriously buy 10

I hope it works out for you! That's the price of a new driver or gently used iron set you're pocketing if it does. Seems pretty low risk. I'm teetering on buying the last 51 and attempting the same. I just find it hard to think that if I can get it in bulk for 39.99, they wouldn't do the same thing. There's is no earthly way I'd even think about trying to unload 51 of them individually.

I'm alternately trying to talk myself into and out of it every other minute. Ultimately I don't want the aggravation. Which I hope will keep my discover card in my wallet all night...

I bought 2 - a platinum and a black both 34. Figured I would try them and either keep both, keep my favorite color or trade in both. Mine are scheduled to show up tomorrow so I will try and get some photos up when I get off work.

I'm not saying I didn't think about doing the same and try to flip a few for a profit,  but I was just happy to get a good deal.  I think a few months ago they were low hundreds when I was looking for a putter to try. Guess they just weren't selling so now it's clear out time. On the other hand,  can always get good trade in on it for something else
