I am wondering if any of you have a source online for a vintage style pair of golf shoes that have the jagged flap that comes down from the tongue and covers the laces. I'd like for them to really be the vintage design with a wing tip type thing going on but the flap is really important. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help

If your feet are small enough, kilties are still sometimes featured on ladies shoes.

Otherwise, try finding an old pair at a yard sale and have a shoemaker dye and stitch the kiltie onto a modern shoe, like FJ Classics.

Those Bobby Jones Cognac golf shoes with the tassels are straight blue blood. I was looking for a pair of shoes just like these-- too bad I can't justify $500 for a pair. There aren't many options when looking for old school style. On one end of the spectrum are the gems from Bobby Jones and at the other end are the cheapo Etonic Kiltie (spikeless) golf shoes for $40. http://www.amazon.co...e/dp/B0007ZODZQ

I wish I could find something in between. Suggestions?

Check out Nebuloni. Handmade golf shoes. As worn by Miguel Angel Jimenez (and I think he pays for them!)

They have an Ebay store (though possibly only in the U.K) and i've seen several versions with kilties. Retail at approx Ģ200 - Ģ250 which brings them close to the price of the Bobby Jones shoe with the exchange rate however you may be able to get a better deal if you ask.

You'll never play with anyone else that's wearing a pair that's for sure!

Personally, I would just buy some classic style shoes (FJ or Ecco) and then buy the kilties here:
