Both drivers look great to me. Don't think I've been this excited for a driver during the middle of the winter before. The technology does make a ton of sense after watching those videos and I can't wait to test both.

Love the shape of the faces of the 460s.  Probably try the M4 at some point.  What really has me interested is the M4 tour.  It looks a tad larger than the M2 tour but I'll have to wait to see it in person before making any purchases.

From TM's website, it looks like the M4 tour is 3 cc's larger than the M2 tour.  Not sure if that would be noticeable at address.

Actually, the loft sleeve was changed. Not sure your point though, regardless.

Golf Digest article on Tiger testing the new equipment

Sbarbaro then suggested the M3 440 at 9 degrees—a club with a slightly smaller head that he said earlier in the day he thought Woods would like.

After a couple of waggles, Woods flashed a smile and said, “I like it a lot.”

After a few swings Sbarbaro made a tweak, shifting the two movable weights all the way forward. On the next swing Woods tattooed one: 322 yards of carry, 15 degrees launch, 2,100 spin—nearly ideal.

That success led Woods to say, “OK, tournament ball.” For Woods, that is a fairway finder with a soft cut. The result was a perfect in-play ball. Sbarbaro noted the weights forward sacrificed some forgiveness, but added some speed and made the club much more workable—a desirable trait for a player who wants to shape their shots like Woods.

After 90 minutes during which he hit close to 100 balls, Woods was closer to perhaps a new driver, but insisted there was a lot of work still to do, mostly on course.

Cobra has had a similar technology to Twist Face for quite some time now they called it the E9 face.

...or maybe not.  Just saying, until I see him with it on the course, and knowing how picky Woods can be, I'm not going to assume he switched because he has one in a staged photo.

Honestly, not a fan of them, appearance wise, at all.

I think 2017's lineup has been the most attractive set of woods they've released in a long time. I also wish they'd stop doing 440's and go back doing 430's. I want as small as possible. Performance wise, the 2017's M1/M2 didn't do anything for me. I hope these can do some magic.

Same technology as Cobra's E-9 and the B & R in the milled face in the new Cobra Drivers.  Just a recycled idea with new branding.  Kinda like they stole the blue and red M color scheme from BMW M series cars.    Time for TM to have some original thinking or get left 17 yards behind.

According to the specs I just read about the M4 hybrids there will be a 25 degree lefty. Its been years since they made one of those for left hand. Now if we could talk them into making the 7 & 9 wood options in left hand.

I am not too sure which I am sold on. I feel like the M4 would be the better selection for me. Since I've always played the M2. I really do not believe too much into adjusting the driver too much.

I thought the same at first before hearing specifics, but that doesn't seem to be the case. They seem to be addressing a similar problem in different ways.

Cobra has been tilting the axis of the bulge & roll to help low-heal and high-toe strikes.

Quote

“We did a lot of analysis we found that first, the bulge and roll should really be canted along this E9 axis, so instead it being vertical, we actually tilt the roll at seven degrees, as is the bulge. So it optimizes accuracy when golfers hit on the low heel and high toe.”
Posted Image
But I don't think it was "twisting" the face like this, curving more open towards the high-toe.

This is interesting for sure, seems like a good idea in theory.  But as someone you misses out on the toe, it sure looks like the added on the twisted face that if you miss out on the toe with an open face the club face would be fractionally more open because they added the loft there.  Meaning my right miss is now going more right....

I think it would make sense for the person with the toe miss hitting primarily hooks and the person with the heel miss hitting primarily fades as their misses (right handers).

Anyways, just initial thoughts.

Aesthetically I think they look great (from the top), a little busy on the bottom but that's ok.

Love the shape of the faces of the 460s.  Probably try the M4 at some point.  What really has me interested is the M4 tour.  It looks a tad larger than the M2 tour but I'll have to wait to see it in person before making any purchases.

I made mention of that wonderful face shape in other thread....great minds!

Damn that M3 440.....

I hate 460cc driver heads, Epic was the first one I got along with.

The M3 fairway and hybrid look solid also.
