i have been watching a lot of you tube lately looking for tips on swinging the clubs better and find that as much as i love certain swings, i'm getting older and need to simplify mine.
if i could choose one or two i have been leaning towards justin rose or louis oosthuizen. both r so smooth and look effortless and can work the ball both ways.
one swing that i have found interesting is charlie hoffman's, it's changed over the years though. in his early years it was very full and long and fluid but now it's cut off and more powerful, not as fluid as years before but great outcomes.

i know this topic has been brought up before but it's a new year...

Tom Purtzer.

Rhythmic, balanced, relaxed, fundamentally sound and extremely powerful.  One of the best swings of his generation.

You beat me to it.

I had the PRIVILEGE of playing 9 holes with Slammin' Sammy when he was in his true autumn years.

Still had the same rhythm and power.

Why anyone would want to swing another way if they could swing this way....

Older generations:  Byron Nelson, Sam Snead, Boros.  Smooth actions without a lot of tension.  Seems like they're easy on the back.

I would have to pick Sam Snead. His swing is ballet like: fluid, smooth, graceful, and powerful. Perhaps I can channel his swing next season? :-)

Sam Snead.  Easiest question ever on WRX.

Grace, rhythm, balance, longevity, and power to burn.  It had everything you could ever ask for.
