I stumbled across this video that Paul Wison put out last week.
Ive never really taken to this type of swing thought because it just feels little violent to me.  I may be applying it incorrectly, but what Im doing now is working pretty well, so really no need to change at this point.

Anyway, you gotta give the guy his props if hes still swinging this way at 51 and you cant argue that it appears pretty efortless.  In the slowmo shot, he seems to have the trail heel up quick ala JThomas. Anyone have success with a very distinct intent of a rapid hip turn like Paul?

You better have hands like Phil Mickelson if you want to apply this.

Two things: 1) cue up the rules guys who are about to pull out some deep rules knowledge on Paul about the fact that he hit 3 balls prior to hitting his actual drive w his buddies like the time that poor guy asked if you would let your buddy hit your driver and they hijacked the poor guys thread with setting him straight on a rules violation and 2) I personally hate watching a 7 min video w ZERO info on swing mechanics, just more of an infomercial.

You want views on an infomercial??

True. I added a video of his swing thoughts.  I had already seen his vids years ago, so I had an idea of what his swing was about.

Is it just me or...?

If he shoots just over the water with his range finder and it's 275, it looks like about 20 more yards at the
absolute most to his ball in the middle of the green.  That's adds up to 295, not 320.

whatever it is... he's over 50 just like shawn clement and both hit 300 yard drives - SC hits it 300 yards left and right handed..... if you're over 50 and can hit drives like that, talk all you want. 80%? maybe 90% of dudes younger than them can't even carry 220 on the regular. And if someone tells you, "oh I carry 240." minus 20 off of that... cause almost every golfer I know have no clue how short they really carry.

safe to say he has a lot of levers in the swing..wrist, elbows all break...is this the triple pendulum swing? maybe this is what geezas like me getting over 50 should deploy...loosey goosey..the coil, uncoil straight left arm has destroyed many an old man,...

Watch 5:45 of this video.  I think several posters have kinda hit if on the head.  Dude has a great set of hands for the golf swing. This kind of "turn the arms off" swing thought is death for me.

Similar swing to a mate of mine, but he has a neck injury that restricts his shoulder turn so he completes the turn with his arms folding as he can't get near 90 degrees in his shoulder turn, a bit like this guy?

Mathematically, 1000' elevation change is only good for +/- 5 yds. The 25' max you might get in the NO area is negligible. I found no difference in my driver carry when I played English Turn and TPC Louisiana.

Humidity makes the ball go further b/c water vapor is lighter than normal air. Dry air doesn't = distance, do some research.

hey, maybe it's just Arizona. I got way too many snowbirds who tell me they hit it 300 (they don't  :D ).

Im not disagreeing that it is one way to hit the golfball, but does your opinion have anything to do with you having the Bodyswing.com logo as your avatar?  Im not asking in a bad way like youre a snake oil salesman, but just curious if your a student?  How did you swing before?  How bas this swing made your better?  What are your swing thoughts?
