Anyone going for CBs is a poser. The XCG5 is the all time best fairway period!!! That includes off the tee and the deck.
Pardon me... But I prefer my 3 wood to NOT be the size of a driver from 2003... And actually like it to work more then 5 yards left or right.
I think that's an important distinction that's not mentioned enough here.
CB woods are small heads for those who like to work the ball.
XCG's are relatively large heads (much larger than CB's).
I'm not enough of a good ball-striker to go for a small fairway wood, and for me, it's mainly a tee club, so I don't mind if it's the size of a 2003 driver.
The EX10 Beta seems to be a nice middle ground between XCG series and CB series.
