Weird, I think SC's are fairly soft, certainly not mush but I didn't feel or hear any click, more like a thud.

To me, my #1 O works either feels mushy/springy on a perfectly center hit, or dead and harsh on anything off center. It may is good for people who like that instant feedback about strike, but it really affects my distance control. I prefer the old insert more.... I feel like the hinges can almost create "fliers" that come off hotter or something.

But hey, that's the beauty of golf.. What one man likes another finds totally different.

I think Cameron's feel awful, and hard off the face, never liked one.

I am definitely an insert guy, like em softer feeling.  I absolutely love the o-works.  I had my best putting year ever this season.

Have you ever putter with a button back or tei3 scotty?

I can't wait to see pictures of the flow neck 2ball and flow neck jailbird.   One of those will be my 2018 putter

Not sure...maybe this is the wave of the future and we need to use our brain power to imagine it.

Itís baaaaaccckk! The most accurate 2 ball EVER! Why this was ever discontinued is a mystery. I canít wait to get my hands on this one. My old fang had the mesh insert that keeps falling off. Iím glad they got their **** together. 6 feet and in is automatic. Canít believe all the bombs I made also. This already made my year great. Looks like end February release date.

Looks like we'll have to continue to wait for a traditional 2ball with a slant neck. Too bad.

Sad indeed. This may be the year I depart from Odyseey...Been waiting for a SN 2 ball or Marxman forever.

If you check the Japan odyssey thread, there is a marxman fang with slant neck, but  I don't know if we'll see it state side.

Let me be more clear, there will be both putters in the new lineup.  I saw both when my sales rep showed us the new clubs for 2018. I do not remember all the models but know the above 2 were in it.

The 2 ball i the tour line is silver and red with single bend and short slant with a new tour face and top line set up like D. Berger.  If I remember right the marxman is in the regular o works line with neck options and hinge face.  The face is a white insert with a metal x milled pattern. There is a 2 ball fang hinge face. The tour line has a different face than the hinge face.  There are 5-6 models in that line(anser, indy, berger 2ball, high moi#7 with tungsten and a couple others I can noÄôt remember) all in different color and neck options.

I agree. I personally loved the head shapes, the original and new offerings, of the O-Works line and so badly wanted multiple of their putters but I couldn't get on with that insert. I love the White Hot Pro insert and nothing else really compares.

That being said, enlighten me about this ProX option???

Microhinge is great marketing but the ProX insert is the best. Not a fan of the other inserts besides the Pro and ProX

It's not marketing it works.

That's why majority of their staff uses it??? I bet more use and will use the normal inserts

I mean more will use microhinge than older inserts.

Thatís where I disagree. I think the pros will continue to use the older Inserts. Sure some pros will make the switch but I think the older Inserts will continue to dominate Odyssey putter count

I agree - I don't for see current pros switching for the sake of the latest and greatest. Putting is far too feel based to be swayed by a perceived advancement in technology. I see far many guys on tour with the White Hot Pro insert in their putters.
