Hey guys let's get an outing together this year. Doesn't have to be big. Only two or three groups, but of course not limited to that. I just moved back to Connecticut and can't wait to play some golf up here again. Maybe we can do this a couple times this year. So throw out some suggestions. I'm not sure what everyone's schedules are like. Do you think weekends are better, or maybe a Monday/Tuesday(cheaper golf). What are some places you'd be interested in playing?

My opinion:

I think if we can, we should shoot for a Monday/Tuesday in late May. The golf will be cheaper, and the courses will be much less crowded.

Courses:

The Jones Course at Lyman Orchards
Shennecosett
Timberlin
Crumpin-Fox

Those are the only suggestions I have. What do you guys think? Let's get this going!

Kyle

I'd be down and my buddy might play as well. He's a member on here but doesn't come on very often. Hit me up anytime you are looking to play as well. I'm in RI. I played Shennecosset a few weeks ago, not a bad course. That 4th? (par 3) hole is ridiculous. I hit the most perfect high draw 3iron I've ever hit and it still went off the back.

Sounds good! That 4th hole is tough. I parred it the first time I played there and thought, hey this isn't so bad. I don't think I've made better than double since :black eye: . What's your schedule like next week? I'm free on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Always looking to play. The weather is looking pretty good next week too.

I should have one of those days off since it's the middle of the month. I work for a furniture moving company so basically when nobody moves, I have the day off. Middle of the month I usually only work about 3 days a week. My buddy works 2nd shift so he can play on weekdays as long as we play before 10 and play closer to where he works, which would mean RI or southern MA.

Shoot me a PM and I'll see what my schedule looks like later in the week. I'll probably be playing on Mon. and most likely Tues. this week, was planning on Triggs but would be open to somewhere else if you are interested. It would have to be reasonably priced though, I just dumped a lot of cash on a "new" car.

Bump,

Kyle you know how to reach me. Mid week stuff is out of the question for next month. I do plan on taking some vacation time this summer so mid week might not be too hard. Are you still in touch with Pat to get him to play too?

Shennecosett. UGHHH As long as it's not 95* with high humidity I'm for it!...LOL christ that heat exhaustion i got last time was a killer. Though I did par the #4 hole :)

I would ask for northern CT/RI since I am on the NH border now.

Mike

Any of you guys who want to get together and play sometime, send me a message. I'm in Providence, RI, pretty central to anywhere around RI or MA or into CT. I've got the day off today, looking for somewhere I can get on as a single as we speak.

I'm taking a vacation June 27th-July 3rd so I'll be available to play. It's tough to schedule a set day for golf in advance because my days off change. Maybe we can set something up on June 28th or 29th(Saturday and Sunday). I'm also willing to travel. Don't mind it a bit. I played Fenner Hill in Southern RI with Ezra last month and really enjoyed it. But I'm always up to play somewhere new. I think somewhere in Northeast CT, Northern RI, or Southern Mass would be ideal. Glad to see some more interest in this.
