I've owned my Epon 502's for forever (10 years maybe??)...I used to be a big club ho, but absolutely nothing feels as good as my 502's and nothing is as accurate, so just held on to them.

That being said, I would love to hear some views on whether or not there's something else out there with a newer/similar profile that might work for me.

Any thoughts?

Swisstrader  your reviews on the 502's helped convince to pick up a set late last fall.

I was only able to hit them once before the snow came and was not disappointed.

I took these out with some others to a heated indoor/outdoor range the other day and i was thinking just what u mentioned "These things are accurate"   [feel pretty dang good as well]

I am always on the lookout for new stuff so i am curious as well to hear what Golfwrx has to say.

I have been very curious on PXG at the moment.

Best of luck in your search.

Hey Stone:

You will love the 502’s. No doubt.

I bought a set of PXGs and they felt like I was hitting rocks with them. Think the polar opposite of soft.

Well there goes Plan B. I better stick with 502's.

What model of PXG did u have? Can u elaborate on your PXG experience?

I loved the look of the PXGs but not so much the feel.

So I took the PXGs through their paces with trakman and against my epons. First, the PXGs were a full club shorter. Secondly and most importantly for me, the feedback I had on mishits with the PXGs was almost zero and even when I hit them on the screws, It wasn’t that nice marshmallow on a stick sort of feel i had with the Epons, but rather a bit of a disquieting clank.

In the end, I wanted to love them but they didn’t love me back:)

Easy, OnOff forged.

I hate to give the impression that my Irons are the end all be all but the 2015 OnOff Kuro ( Endo forged ) irons are that good.

I have been tempted to look at Epon but the delta in price from the Kuro's squashed that idea.  I have two sets of Kuro's so I'm set for awhile.

I actually have a n unused set of 502s still in the wrappers with weight tolerances. I got them the same time i got the 302's and once the 302s were shafted I haven't looked back. PM me if you are interested in a brand new set.
