I love Pro V's but the $30 price tag on Q Star Tour is hard to beat.

I'm not seeing it. I'm only seeing Buy 3 get 1 free which is $25 per dozen (still a good price)

Ive been gaming the volvick vibes for about four rounds now and I have to say they have the best perfomance of any ball ive used...straight off the teen and lots of check on greens.

Anyone have recommendations for a ~100 mph driver swing speed, Z-Star vs. Q-Star Tour?  I’ve read a number  of reviews on both and expect either would work, but worried I’m at the top end of the recommended speeds for the QST.

Have had good experiences with B330RX, but looking for more spin at a better price point.

Is it that much of a deal with shipping?

I would say for me the Spin of the QST is similar to that of the B330RX. The Z Star had quite a bit more spin for me on intentional high spin shots but on regular iron shots QST had a foot or so of roll-out compared to a straight hop and stop with the Z star on softer greens.

Yeah I noticed the q star tour were rolling out too far. They weren’t spinning well and I was rolling over greens. I would pay the extra $5 or $10 and get z star if you are staying srixon they are a great ball

For the same price range I liked the titleist velocity or tour soft. Trying some taylormade project A’s out this year but I have to wait for the snow to melt to give valid feed back. They come in yellow too

Have to disagree about the Velocity, complete distance only ball that is not even close to the QST in overall performance. I hear the new project a is good but I havent tried it yet.

I'm a 10 hdcp and have been a Pro V1x guy for years.  I found a brand new Z-Star on the course last week and played 18 holes with it on Sunday.  I'm switching.  It was much straighter with the driver and full iron shots than the Titleist. The difference in short game spin was negligible, as I don't spin my wedges that much anyway.  The trajectory was a little lower with the Srixon but not enough to bother me.  I bought a dozen last night to see if the results from Sunday stay consistent.

Z-stars are awesome and Q-stars kinda suck. I don't understand the cult following they have.
Q-star reminds me of everything I disliked about the Nxt Tours. Shockingly similar.
Z-star is like a straighter Pro-V1 w distance to challenge anything. And they're durable. And occasionally go on a real sale, not a fake sale that takes $5 off of infinity if you buy more than u can use.

Go check out the latest spin charts from from golf digest.  Their 50 yard tests show the Tour Soft having more spin than the Project A and Q Star Tour which are both three piece urethane balls.

I play any an all balls but prefer Tour balls. However Im very impressed with the Tour Soft and with the Q Star Tour. Both great balls.

Been going back and forth the last 2 months between QST and zStar.  Put the zStar back in this week and think I've settled on it.  Just as good off the tee and much better spin.   As others have said, getting too much roll out with the QST
