HI. Am an older golfer but with a legitimate 3 handicap and would love to use a 6 hybrid(28*-30*) but they all seem to have closed faces, making them go left with a standard good swing.
I have the Callaway Apex 4 and 5 hybrids and love them, long, square faces and straight...but they don't make a 6 hybrid in the Apex.  Callaway says, "sorry all of our 6 hybrids are closed faced game improvement clubs."
Has anyone found a 6 hybrid with a square face?
Thanks so much.

Although not a hybrid Iíd advise you to try the Fli-Hi in 6-iron. It fits the bill for what youíre looking for and has very little offset.

http://wishongolf.co...id-irons/775hs/

The 775HS go to a #6 in right hand.  Unique to this model is the fact they are made with a soft 304 stainless steel bendable hosel to enable the lie and face angle to be adjusted within a +/-4* range of the spec for both.  Design spec for the face angle is 0*.  But from years of doing this stuff I am well aware there are golfers who see 0* on some heads as being closed.  So if you are really sensitive to this, you might want to ask the clubmaker to order the head 1* open so as to be absolutely sure.   These cannot be clamped into an IRON bending machine for the hosel bend and most clubmakers do not have a proper machine with clamping nest to do them in their shop.  So they usually have to order the head and ask for it to be bent to whatever lie or face angle the golfer needs.   They are also a thin face high COR model as well.

Hope this helps,

The Ping G30 sets up pretty square, as does the new G400.

Adams A3 6 hybrid.  Older club may be hard to find but definitely not closed faced.  I'll try to post a pic of mine at address.

I have a 816 H1 6 hybrid, and I don't think it looks closed. It is also adjustable which helps.

Just a thought- get a 27 degree Titleist hybrid, adjust the loft weak for what you're looking for, and set it open if necessary.
If you need a distance or trajectory adjustment at that point, can soft step or hard step a softer or harder shaft.
Callaway Epic 9* Hzrdus, T800, 5.5, R
Titleist 915F 15* Diamana S+ Blue 70, R
Titleist 915Hd 20.5* set to 19.75*, Diamana S+ Blue 70, S, -1/2"
Titleist 716 AP1 4-W52, Kuro Kage Tini 65, S
Ping Gorge Tour S 56*, TFC Graphite, R
Odyssey White Ice #9

Ping G10 28*hybrid.  It’s probably labeled as a 5 hybrid, but it’s a fantastic club. Ping also had a 32*G10 hybrid FYI.

Brilliant thread, I am thinking about a 6h too! From my research Titleist hybrids would work well.

I am very sensitive to closed, even square face angles (fight a hook) and I took a set of Adams V3's on trade. The hybrids (3h - 6h) definitely don't set up closed on the set I got.
Play the most forgiving clubs that you like the looks of.
