Pro1M - I contacted customer service regarding the repair/support service that is available.  I understand my rangefinder is not the newest model and out of warranty, so was curious what services are offered.  My current issue is lack of focus/clearness.  Unfortunately, the person I spoke with was only interested in telling me to fill out the online form and send it in.  Just curious if anyone has had experience "just sending it in" and the general cost range for repair (could not get a general answer to this also).  Perhaps the customer rep was just having a bad day....

I haven't heard many good customer stories about Bushnell, which is why I went with Leupold. A year ago my rangefinder broke. It was out of warranty. I contacted Leupold and they told me to send it in. A couple weeks later I received a brand new, updated range finder at no charge.

I would think you have to send it back so they can give you an estimate. Usually you aren't committed to getting it repaired if its too costly.  What might be a better option would be to trade it in to Bushnell for a new model. I got an email from Bushnell earlier this month saying they're offering high trade-in value (I believe 150%) if you upgrade.

Appreciate the feedback.  I think the Pro1M is still a top tier rangefinder. Trading in/purchasing a new product is an option but shouldn't be a necessity to get support to answer a few general questions.

I would call back and hope for someone more knowledgeable. Or ask for supervisor.

I sent in my old pinseeker 1500 slope to see if they could repair it. All it costed me is just shipping. I got a letter from customer service saying it wasn't repairable. They gave me two options. 1. Bushnell keeps the broken machine and give me 30% off against MSRP on their current model. 2. Just ask them to return the broken machine back. All went well for me.

Was thinking about buying a x7 but because itís discontinued and there have been issues with this large form factor since the M1 Iíve held back. Plus itís not as cheap as youíd think for a old model

very similar experience with Bushnell customer service.  if they're paying that man, they should save their money and fire him.  just post a nicer message to the web for us to read.

I had the same experience. They couldnt repair a broken hybrid. Seems silly, wish they had better warranty or at least something better than 20-30 percent off to upgrade.

I had the same problem with error E12. I sent it in about 2 weeks ago. They never got back to me. I had to call in to get my code to check on the status. Then I checked it to see how it was doing and it said estimate would be $191.

I called them pleading my case trying to get it replaced. He offers me 275 for the pro x2. I wasn't planning on spending that much to repair a perfectly good pro 1m but they said it's "unrepairable". Kind of disappointing. I hope I didn't make the wrong decision by staying with bushnell.
