I know I'm late to the party with these, but now that I'm in the market for new wedges the 1957 Y/C/K-grind Wedges have really caught my eye. I live in northern Japan and have never seen one in person, even with a small Miura dealer right down the road from me. I'll be down in Tokyo for a couple days during the holidays, and I'm wondering what the odds are I may find some new ones down there and where I should look. Are there dealers that carry them in the Tokyo area? Or anywhere else in Japan? My local Victoria Golf and Golf Partners don't have them, unless they get a used one which I haven't seen yet.

The 57 Series Y-Grind 49 and 51 are two of the prettiest 'Off-The-Rack' Wedges I've ever seen.

The K-Grind is not my cup of tea. Too round shape and the grind is counter productive to how I operate around the greens.

The C-Grinds are performers. I gamed them, and I would still probably game the 57 if the toe and leading edge were a bit squarer.

If forced, I'd play the Y 49 bent to 48, the Y 51 bent to 52 and the C 57 bent to 58.

The 1957 line is not a Japan market line, so it's doubtful you'll see them in Tokyo.

That's what I was afraid of. The only local Miura I can find are the Miura Giken lines, which is the local market if I understand correctly.

A few years old (2012) but the Giken MB-5000WC are pretty good.

I love my K grind 60 - best club in the bag (Nippon wedge shaft).  My 56 doesn't get much use based on the course I play (I'm just never 100 out).

I recently addeda Y grind 51. For some reason it seems to go exceptionally high. Not sure why.

Good wedges, though I might prefer my Fourteens w/ KBS wedge shafts. Still deciding.

Miura line is very much an overseas line.  You should be able to get them in Singapore and Hong Kong which have official Miura sellers there.
But MG line of irons and wedges in Asia and Japan are available in 4 different grinds.

I play the Y model, have the two bent to 53 and 59.

I have a third and sometimes go 50, 55 and 59..but that's too many wedges.

Interesting that Y grind goes high for you. Typically hear that these wedges fly lower. I am looking at the Y in the gap wedge loft range.
