Wondering if anybody else does this...

When I get a new SS grip (currently using 2.0 counter core with 25g weight) I roll up a few paper towels and rub them up and down the grip, all over it, to remove some of the paint. The area with no point act as how cord would, a really soft cord, and gives me some extra grip.

Was a SS mid slim guy for a while but I've since gone back to pistol grips and it just feels better in my lower hand (regular putter grip). Never had much issue with using too much hand action so the super stroke fat grips don't help me any and tend to reduce feel.

Just bought a PP58 to toss on my #7 to replace the ol stock Odyssey grip (Lamkin crossline style equiv).

I really like 2 putter grips at the moment, the Golf Pride Tour Snsr Contour and the Lamkin Sink. The Lamkin is on what will be my gamer to start the year. But there are other putters I plan to rotate in that have the Tour Snsr

I have a tour SNSR 104 on my bettinardi and love the feel and feedback. although I hate the looks, nothing else feels quite as nice to me. I would buy multiple of them if they made them in black hopefully one day they will or a smaller size

You took the words right out of my mouth. Love the way this grip feels, but it looks like a neon sign on the end of the putter!

Exact same for me.  Been playing SS Mid Slim 2.0 grips (with 75g counter core weights) for the last 3 years in most of my putters.  However, just yesterday I found an old, unused GP Player's Wrap pistol grip in my drawer and slapped it on my backup putter.  Feels great, my hands feel like I can relax them a little more with a softer grip pressure.  I also feel like I can release my left hand (I'm a left-handed putter) more naturally.  Also feels like I would be able to better control the putter face with my left hand as well.

I'm in a never ending search for the "one". I have 3 that I rotate through and each is equally good at the moment. Matador midsize, SS Flatso 1.0, and Iomic midsize with lower hand wraps. I am super intrigued about the GTR Pistol 1.0 and the Tour. Bought the Tour and going to give it a whirl. Its like a Flatso with more subtle shaping/contours. Can't decide if the pistol end on the 1.0 is too big or the low end on the tour too small. Hmmmm????

Salty Oversize, lightly sanded.  Very light weight, would pair well with any older, lighter headed putters like the earlier Camerons to bring the swingweight up.

Iomic Absolute X in white, love the texture & colors. Tried Super Strokes in various sizes, didn't work for me at all. I use a Taylormade Corza Ghost mallet putter, Iomic white grip looks great on it.

Just switched to Superstroke GTR Tour. Not too bulky, flat on top, no taper.  Really like it a lot.

Previously, I have been a SS guy. Tried out the Mid Slim 2.0, Flatso, 1.0, and GTR Tour. Just got a TM Tour Spider Black and am really liking the Winn Midsize Pistol on it.

For years I used only the "blackout " Ping putter grips. Starting using Pure grips. Really like them.

Flatso 2.0, but always looking. I would love if SS made better looking grips. Their color schemes/Superstroke all over it are annoying. I am testing out the Lamkin Jumbo on a putter and like it (especially for 7 dollars), but like the feel of an Iomic more than the Lamkin.
