Honest answer, there is not one that is best for everyone.

For me, I have always preferred Golf Pride grips and have Tour Velvet BCT cords in all of my clubs bar the butter. I like them because they are hard wearing and better in the rain than other options (it's a big consideration here in Scotland). That said, they aren't easy on the hands and by the end of the summer, my hands don't usually look like those of an office worker.

Just put in an order for some Grip Master grips. They are so tacky its unreal and they get even tackier when they get wet! Tremendous!

I prefer cord grips over non-cord, basically for similar reasons as the poster above. I feel like they stand up much better in rainy/wet conditions, and for me it seems like they last a lot longer than some non-cord grips that I've played in the past.

I tend to gravitate to Lamkin grips just becuase that's what I've always played, but I have tried offerings from Winn (not a fan), Golf Pride (decent grips but too expensive IMO) and Black Widow (awful, lasted maybe 2 months before they show signs of serious wear).

I will say this -- there have been huge advances in grip technology. 15 years ago it made a big difference which grips you used. I could not use anything other than full cords (rougher than anything currently on the market). Now the new multicompound grips are incredible.

It's almost hard to pick a bad grip. I rarely regrip a club and use what came with it from the factory (if I am not able to pick a grip). If I am picking a grip, I use Golf Pride New Decade Multicompound. I like their feel, the little bit of texture and also their look.

There's a lot of parity in the grip market now. For most people, I think any mainstream grip from Golf Pride, Lamkin etc. are good in the heat, rain or basically any conditions.

I like the Ping ID-8 full cord grips but, if you don’t play Pings, they might not be your first choice.

Many companies make different sizes of the same models. Any model you have to suggest?

I really liked Pure Grips P2 Wrap, soft & durable. I’ve read others describe Pure Grips as having a “squishy” feel. I agree somewhat, but have lately gravitated toward softer grips. However, in wet conditions, they were near unplayable in my experience.

Grips are a personal preference thing but I've had good luck with the Lamkin UTx grips. They work great in the rain.  Check the Lamkin web site as they always have sales. Purchase on Fridays and shipping is free.

Your are thinking of Best Grips. They have some cool looking stuff as well, but I think Grip Master is the best. Same prices and seem to be a very similar product.

Golf Pride NDMC grips with Lamkin Z5a close second. The NDMC is a little better in cold weather and has more cord and more grip too but the Z5 is softer and resulting in less wear on gloves and hands. Both good choices

I’m a big fan of the MC+4’s but I took a flyer in the new Align grips....they are sweet. When I do my seasonal spring regrip, I’m considering going all aligns. Kinda hope they drop some more colors. I like the all grays...but would prefer the blues
