Does anybody have any info or experience with the Shimada Ks Tour SR Flex? Currently playing Nippon Modus 125 in regular and wanting to know if I should go Stiff SSx1 or SR straight in with the Shimada Ks Tour.

Thanks in advance....

I'd go R.  Shimada typically plays stiff to flex.

I agree. I'm having a new set of irons made up for me at the moment. I have a set of 1998 Hogan Apex with an Apex 4 shaft. The Apex shaft weighs 115 gms. My clubmaker put the Apex 4 shaft in a machine that measures flex and then compared it to a Shimada 115 gm "R' flex shaft. The figure on the flex machine was identical.

So, the Shimada "R" shaft plays like a Hogan Apex 4.

That's great info.  Shimadas are also incredibly consistent shaft-to-shaft.
