I have a spare KuroKage shaft with a Callaway Optifit2 adapter... Since my season here in the Northeast is nearing  the end for 2017 I was thinking of doing a winter 'scavenger hunt' for a Callaway Driver head that would be a good fit?  Can anyone recommend a good Callaway driver head from the past 2,3,4 years that would fit the Optifit2 adapter?  I play to a ten handicap, drive the ball straight, but wouldn't mind picking up 5 or 10 yards. Played a Callaway mini driver for most of the year but finished the year going back to my trusty TE CB-1 driver. Suggestions?

Any of the Big Bertha(2014, 815, 816), the X2 Hot, Fusion, Epic, XR, XR 16 or Opftiforce Models will fit that adapter. Thereís probably more but I canít think of them now. Have Fun :)

Wow, far bigger selection than I thought!  I have a XR 5wood which has worked out very well... so that seems like a good choice. Plus the XR's should be available as people trade up to new clubs but want to keep favorite shafts. I know very little about the Fusion line??? Was it a high handicapper line meant for forgiveness?  Price will likely keep me out of the 'new' Epic heads, plus I had thought they used a different adapter?
thank you.

You might consider, the XR16 Pro. I have been
Quite impressed with this driver, use the Speeder 661 instead
Of the 665 that came with it. Solid performer, had better numbers
For me, than the epic.  Prefer slightly smaller headed drivers.

Callaway XR 16 Pro 9* Speeder 661
TEE CBX 3T 13* Kuro  Kage
TEE CB Pro F2 17.5* Kuro  Kage
TEE CBX Hybrid 22* Hazardous Black

Callaway MD Forged Wedges, 50*, and 56* DG 200

I just picked one up in the Callaway pre-owned deal. Too cheap to pass up. Like new. Cannot wait to give it a run. I always play Cally fairways, but have more of a challenge finding a Cally driver I like. Did not care for the Epic. Maybe just too large looking. Typically go with Ping drivers, have also played Titleist and TM. Last Cally driver I gamed was the Razr X Black, and that was a good one.

Big fan of the X2 Hot 3 Deep and pro heads. Love the look of the XR16 Pro drivers. For 1/3 the cost of a new club, I figured why not try it out? Can send it back to them if I don't like it.

I finally bought a 2015/16 Great Big Bertha head. Wanted 10.5 degree but ended up with 9*.  Reviews seem to be good, will fit the adapter, and price was great. I shopped CPO over the holiday week, nearly all of the GBB were 13.5 so I got discouraged and found one elsewhere. Like others here CPO is usually the best source but not this time. Is there a way to search the site for "heads only"?  Last thing my wife wants to see is 'another' golf club being delivered. I have extra shafts so trading heads would be a great solution for me. So far I only seem to find full clubs on CPO. I could call CPO customer rep but honestly would rather do my own inventory research first...
BTW:  Snow expected here by the end of the week so sadly reality is setting in..... A good season for me though.... 90 scorable rounds.... 6 rounds 70-74, 60 rounds 75-79, 24 rounds 80 or above.  No even Par rounds this year... This is the 2nd year I kept track of full season of rounds rather than just relying on handicap. Next year I might bring score cards home and record hole by hole to see where weaknesses are... my guess Par 3's.

You actually ended up with the correct choice.  The 9* GBB head is the better option as the 10.5* was often reported as a "hook machine".  The 9* is a fantastic head; quite forgiving, great ball speed off the face, and easily weight adjustable (if you go to BillyBob's Golf, he has after-market weights for the head).  This is my current gamer.

The XR 16 Pro is another good head when you decide to throw something else on that shaft.
