Yeah, last I heard it was gonna be January but looks like they maybe bumped it up to get ahead of Taylormade's M3/M4 announcement?

I'd be interested to see what effect that milling pattern might actually have on ball flight but I'd be inclined to guess it's more for aesthetics than anything.

I for one am not really a fan of turbulators or weird designs on the crown, I find it to be distracting. I'm sure it'll be a great driver but we know the COR limit is reached, and forgiveness can only go so far, too.

I have never hit a Driver as consistent as I hit the old Cobra Amp Cell and Amp Cell Pro. Letting those slide away from my grasp was one of the worst mistakes I've made in my game. Since doing so I have tried almost every new driver that comes to market. Really hoping this could be the one to re-create that magic!

Bridgestone j715 and a some jdm drivers have done the milled grooves on the face before. I think it's supposed to help with spin on a wet ball.......

That would be way to easy and save too much money. Now please stop making sense.

BTW, I took 30 seconds and found quite a few brand new ones on eBay for $119...

I have bought two actually, I had the stock shaft too and none of them have compared. Probably can attribute to swing changes and such but a definite loss of confidence lol. Sometime when you buy the same club its still not the same, have experienced that with numerous drivers in the past!

Totally agree with this. I've had drivers. sold/traded them, purchased what should have been an Identical replacement and it was just never the same. Same thing with an R7 3 wood i had back in the day. You're not crazy!! (or, at least, your not crazy alone)

Well don't feel too bad then, if things have changed then it wouldn't have mattered anyway. For me personally, the head only matters when it comes to looks and sound/feel. Shaft makes much more of a difference in how my ball behaves and what my end result is. I've had this M2 driver now for most of the year and used 6 different shafts, and each one produced a totally different feel and flight, all from my current driver which allows me to work the ball both ways, to really stiff shafts that made me hit high pushy fades that spun up like crazy.

That's why when I test anything now, I don't really care about the numbers unless the right shaft is involved. I'm purely judging the product based on its looks and how it feels when I impact the ball. Those things don't change too much regardless of what shaft I put in.

Looks a lot better then the M4.  Heard they got this one right and your going to see a lot of F8+'s in bags.  440cc as well.

I agree, i think the + looks fantastic. Interesting to hear what their thoughts are about the milled face. I also really love the baffler fairways. and daddy needs a 5 wood!

I do think the F8+ looks better, but usually fade biased drivers aren't for me. Also the initial article I read on MGS said most people will do better with the F8. Maybe not on Golf WRX with our massive hooks and 120 mph swings though...

I really need to grab one myself.  I haven't pulled the trigger because the shape is a little off to me.  If they release a fly z + shaped 3 wood with the rails I'm grabbing it.

Looks like an M4, a G400 and a Machine putter had a ménage and 9 months later that’s what came out
