Any suggestions on a cold weather golf vest?  I’m thinking like a filled vest and not fleece.  Needs the be warm enough for golf under 40 degrees.

I love the new Adidas Climaheat vest but the $120+ is a little much.

Any recommendations?

What about the Adidas Prime Quilted from last season? I've got it in a full jacket and it's my favorite jacket by far. Part fleece, part fill and you can get it very cheap.

I use patagonia and frequently play in under 45 degree weather. I pair it with a Smartwool 250 weight and works well for me.

might be able to pick up a mizuno sweater vest on sale/closeout somewhere.  Their regular sweaters (hayate, warmalite, windlite I thing are different models) are WARM, I'd imagine the vests to be similar.  It's not golf specific, but I have an arcteryx atom vest I love.  Warm and has stretchy side panels. Is expensive but works great, mine is 5+ years old and going strong.  I got mine from REI with their 20 or 30% off coupon they do a few times per year.

Agreed. I use a generic midweight fleece vest and a midweight thermal long sleeve shirt underneath. It's good into the 40s definitely. Maybe a light windvest on top if it's windy.

Adidas Prime Quilted and Climawarm are awesome. They are worth the price but if you look at places like namebrandgolfshirts.com they carry them at good prices.

Sun Mountain makes an extremely thin full sleeve shirt that goes under an outer layer.  You don't even know it's there and it retains an amazing amount of heat.  Wore it last Saturday in 35 degree temps with an Under Armour compression shirt and a Mizzy Wind Light jacket and was toasty!

Well if you don't like the Adidas price tag, you may not like my suggestion...

But the Nike Aeroloft Vest is a phenomenal product. I was skeptical buying one, but I really wish I would have gotten one a year ago. Money very well spent.

If you're wearing heatgear in the cold, you're doing it wrong. Don't feel bad though. You'd be surprised by how many people get this wrong.

I got lucky and found a Spyder vest at Costco for $30. Light weight insulation on the front with fleece on the sides and back. Worked great over a UA heatbhear 1/4 zip and polo in 35-45 weather and folded up nicely when i no longer needed it.

It is the Glissade vest. Most places online have it for $70-100.

Eddie Bauer also has a nice fleece vest that works great as a light weight layer on colder days.

I think you may have meant AeroLoft vest: https://www.dicksspo...BSABEgJ3wPD_BwE

The AeroReact only comes in a 1/2 zip pullover. I don't think they have made a vest in the aeroreact material.

I recently bought the Under Armour coldgear infrared reactor vest. Has worked very well in high 30's to mid 40's. Pop a hand warmer in each pocket and good to go.

I have been using a fleece brooks brothers vest that cost about $300ish. I tried all the others and nothing let’s me swing freely and keeps me warm at the same time. I tried all the major golf and hiking brands and I always go back to my brooks brothers fleece vest.

Eddie Bauer has the Ignitelite Hybrid vest on sale now for $40. Similar to the Spyder I recommended earlier. Worth a look as it should provide nice warmth for the Front side of your body while still being stretchy enough to not restrict your swing.
