So I have an AD DI 8x  shaft I donít plan on using and was thinking about cutting it down to fit a new putter head I bought. Itís a Scotty camron Tei3 head that weights 322 grams. I want to use the superstroke mid slim 2.0 countercore grip with it. I read in other post the big issue is normal putter shafts weight over 100grams. What do you guy think. Will this work or not? With a lighter shaft will the head feel heavier (because I wish my putter head was 350grams) but thought a lighter shaft can make up the difference some how. Maybe Iím off

It will make it feel even lighter.  Most of the shaft weight is below your hands, so heavier feels heavier and lighter feels liggter. I don't think you'll feel the head any more. Nippon makes some really heavy (~140g) shafts that may help.
