Was looking at a putter thread today and thought to myself..."I don't think I will ever buy another putter again".  I keep every old putter I've ever had.  I putt better with the putter I am using than I have ever putted in my life.  The odd times I struggle anymore, I have a couple old backups that get me back into putting well again and then its back to old faithful.

I realize this is blasphemy on here but do any of you have a club in your bag that you think will ever be the last one you will ever buy?  Hopefully this leads to a good story or two.

My ping redwood at 36" since its debut.

Just matches my stroke and is the main reason for constistency on the greens for X amount of years.

I'm not ruling out replacing it ever, but probably my Nike Origin B2-01. I'll probably buy more putters because I love putters, but I think I'll use this putter for a long time. My last round, I used another Nike putter (No clue why in hindsight) and I was putting terribly and missing 3-4 footers, which I haven't done like that since I got the Origin. (Not that I don't miss some short ones with the Origin, but I generally don't miss them like that.) This is probably just mental, but putting is about confidence, right?

Short answer: Putter in sig.

My current 3 wood will stay in the bag as long as I'm strong enough to swing it. It's the longest 3 wood I've ever owned and to the day, the best feeling club through the swing that I've ever used. I can't imagine just randomly finding anything better.

I would be kidding myself if I said forever, but my current 913fd 3 wood is going to be around for a while... It's just so easy to hit long and straight for me.  Tried it once before and did not have the same experience, but this time around it is money for me, could be down to the Speeder in it, but whatever the case, I love that club.

i would say its my Cameron X7M (36 inch) dual balanced putter... swapped out the red grip with the black/grey version when i visited the store in California this summer. it is just the easiest thing to stroke... even when my stoke is off or if i am feeling nervous.

Great thread by the way!!

Rossie White hot mallet - going on 15 years with it. Longest relationship of my life. Things got a little rocky last year after I put some lead tape on the bottom. I tore off the tape after I had the worst putting experience of my life using a BECU Ping B60. I was back to my usual decent self on the greens yesterday.

That and I've got a small collection of Ping Eye2 LW going - I have the XG, The original BECU and a Eye2 + no +... These are just too good from the sand and around the green, the few times I seem to be able to get out these days.

Other than that, I don't imagine anything feels very safe in my bag these days.

Most will scoff, but I've never found another driver that I can hit consistently further and keep in play than my Taylormade R7 425.  It has outlasted every other driver that I've ever owned both before and after!  You'll pry it from my cold dead hands.

I'm well aware of who you were referring to, but Jack was the best. Tiger could have been the best, but he was too worried about intimidating the other golfers by hitting 270 yard 2 irons and blew out his knees and back. He's only 41 and can barely hit a chip without getting a herniated disk. He's done. Jack was competitive into his 60's and won the Masters at age 46. Tiger will never match the 18 majors won by Nicklaus. He couldn't even win the club championship at whatever country club he belongs to now. He did some very impressive things in his day, but with that violent full-out swing it wasn't sustainable. Jack by far (it's seriously not even close), has the best overall record in majors, with 18 victories, 19 second place finishes, and 73 top 10s. Woods can't even begin to sniff at that record. Tiger will always be number two.
And to get back on topic, nothing in my bag is safe. The longest tenured item in my bag is my iGolf GPS. I have no plans to replace that, I guess. But I switch clubs out from round to round. I know it's the Indian and not the arrow, but that still doesn't keep me from blaming the clubs.

Nike Oven Method 006.

Someday I can tell my kids about how Nike used to make clubs and equipment for the greatest golfer of all time.
I didn't know Nike made clubs for Jack Nicklaus.

They didn't, I'm referring to Tiger Woods.

Sarcasm is a b**** some times..........;)

My Sentio Putter. Received it last summer and don't see it heading out soon. Awesome milled feel with the easy roll of an insert. Awesome stick.

Unless I can get my hands on a Lamb, or my own CNC machine. Then you never know.
