How to feel 'loaded'
Posted 13 November 2017 - 07:50 AM
As for the swing, not a teacher but, your dip at the top resulting in a lift at the bottom can't be good.
You should feel loaded when your weight is on the inside of your back leg.
If you don't get there, ya ain't loaded.....hic....

Youre almost certainly making a false turn. By that i mean just turning your shoulders so your left shoulder brushes your chin. You can swing that way but it just hand and arms, which is why you dip when starting the downswing.
With a full shoulder turn you should feel like your back is facing the target. If your doing it correctly and turn far enough your left heel will lift. As said above your weight will be inside your right thigh.
Start the downswing by planting that left heel, you will uncoil from the ground up. No need to rush, you will have bags of power.

Thanks for the reply
My left heel does normally lift but it is usually a result of my left knee kicking in way too much to a point where it could almost touch my right knee.
A face on view would show this which i wi get up asap.
Again thanks for the reply appreciate it.

Start your downswing long before upswing ends. It will both shorten your swing as well as give the load feel.
