Had a Newport Button Back that I bought new about a year after they were released.  I gamed it for 4 seasons and kept it in absolute pristine condition.  Went through a phase where I experimented with several putters and ended up selling it for  more than I paid for it even though I used it four seasons.

I actually repurchased a Buttonback recently for much more than I bought or sold my original one for.  Played it for one round, and while it is a beautiful putter, I found that I prefer the look and feel of my Ping Anser milled.

Sold a new Inspired By Rory McIlroy a few years ago for $400USD just because I was in a mood to move a few of my collection on. A local golf trader came round with cash and took 13 putters of me - and boy did he get some bargains!!

As silly as it sounds, this is the only one I really regret selling....and it's not even that it was that special to putt with.

MacGregor Response MI 615  10th Edition # 0048/1986  (10th anniversary commemorative of Jack's Masters win in 1986)

It's not that special, but at the same time I don't see them, in this condition and in this low of a number, come up that often.

I came out right side up on this one.  I think I had between $20 - $40 in it, and sold it for $125.

I guess the Callaway Bobby Jones Billet Series BJ-2 was another one I sold that I actually enjoyed putting with.

I regret not keeping my EVNROLL putter and buying an O works instead. I listened to data & the fitter over my instinct and feels. Now with it being off season time, there's no point to buying one right now.

My old Mannkrafted MA/66 first run 48 of 50.......Went LongNeck and sold off all my standard plumbers and then realized I was better with Toe Hang.

I saw it on the BST a few months back and someone ruined it. This thing was mint when it left and the hosel was all bent to hell.........made me pretty sad

That weld was perfection
Amazing putter. I could average 40 putts with it and it'd still probably stay in the bag :)

Sold a Ping G2i Craz-e H to a friend because I had just bought a Ketsch. Regretted selling it soon after but didn't look to hard for another, instead I bought other Putters trying to find something I putted as well with. Never found anything so last week I bought a Craz-e H for $32 off eBay. Not bad condition but it is now on its way back to Ping for a complete re-finish, including re shaft and new face and graphic plates. It felt just as good as I remember.

My first Scotty was a Pro Platinum Newport Mid Slant that I bought used my junior year in high school with money I made working at K-Mart. I put a red baby T grip on it and she was a looker!  I used it for a few years then sold it to a friend. I bought it back from him years later and eventually ended up selling it on eBay. It isn't about the money, more that it was just the first premium club that I bought on my own. I've bought and sold more putters than I can remember since but that's the only one I regret letting go.

Piretti potenza ext.  sold it for way too little. Was cruising eBay and saw it. Yes the exact putter that was mine. So I just bought it back. Seller said he just put in his closet and forgot he had it. Off course I lost money on the deal. But glad I found it.

I had a TaylorMade Itsy Bitsy plumbers neck stolen out of my storage unit that I wish I still had.  Always worked for me when another gamer went cold.  If anyone sees one out there for sale with a mint green Iomic midsize grip, let me know...

In terms of putters I’ve sold, I wish I still had my Method Mod 90.  Just a cool looking version of a Bullseye putter.  At the time, I couldn’t get past the idea of tripling what on spent on it when I sold it.  Figured I’d find another down the road.  Just have never gotten around to finding another.  Too many other great great flat sticks waiting for me to give them a shot.

Had a Nike method mallet that I was lights out with. Was young and dumb and saw all the good players with blade putters so I sold it and picked up a bettinardi. Love the bettinardi but loved the Nike even more
