I donít know why, but I immediately thought of Ron Burgandy when I saw a post about turtle necks. Of course, my home is filled with many leather bound books and smells of rich mahogany, so I also enjoy wearing one from time to time, especially while playing the jazz flute. Iím kind of a big deal.

Itís early and Iím running on 2 hours of sleep. Sorry for the sidebar.

Quality cashmere.

When one gets old makes a great colder weather golf sweater, or hunting sweater for that matter.

Ooops, "who" not "what".  Quality cashmere getting harder to find and thinner and thinner I'm afraid - pretty sad.

You just have to know where to look.  Itís not an issue of thickness, itís the knit.  The kind of sweaters that I and presumably you prefer carry less shelf appeal at the moment than the current trend of softer-to-the-touch, looser knit varieties.  I look at a sweater and how it will break in, I donít want to worry about how quickly it is going to fall apart.

Are you going for the sleeves, neck warmth, or both. If you want you neck warm but your arms to be free, I have another recommendation....
