Both are decent but no shocking revelations in these balls. I'll stick with the PRO V1. I let some friends hit them and She (retirees 70mph swing speed) hit the TM 30 yards further. He (her husband swing speed 90mph ) hit the AVX further. Anyone else try these yet?

The AVX is the most durable urethane ball on the market, by far. Surlyn like performance. Last ball you’ll ever need, as long as you don’t lose it.

There's nothing like a truly scientific test in the real world!

What more do you lot expect him to say?

I’d rather see someone make a 3-sentence comment about one round’s experience than have him bang on for eight paragraphs pretending to make all sorts of ridiculous claims.

Maybe next time he’ll hit 30 shots into a net and post Trackman numbers and you will all wet your pants over it...

Everything has its drawbacks, as the man said when his mother-in-law died, and they came down upon him for the funeral expenses.

Send them both to me, I'll test them out for you. I haven't hit the Titleist one yet so I need to test it. I'll be impartial, I swear. I can swing like a female AND male retiree too so I'm the perfect tester. I'd also appreciate if you could send a quality launch monitor too. Nothing too pricey, there's some I want to test that are under 2k.

I'll give you all the juicy details. Just send all of that to me. If you want any quality clubs tested, send those as well. With those and a launch monitor I'll tell you exactly how good they really are. If you want to include a house where I can hit into a full simulator I'd also test that out. Currently all tests are in the garage. It's cold out there. How can one get good results? You can't . I have a vaulted ceiling too in my living room, prefect for a full simulator. When I suggested that to the Mrs, she suggested I find another living room, perhaps by myself?, to try it out on.

TL/DR; send it all. I'll give you a detailed review.

You will keep playing Pro V because at $39 they are cheaper than the $47 titleist is asking for the AVX

If I spent that kind of $ on balls, it would be for tp5. Got a few from a buddy, and they're easily the best thing out there. Sorry to the Titleist guys, but I play a bag that is 80pct Titleist, used to love dt solo, covet pro v1, but the tp5 is on another level.
