Started looking for some new golf shoes for my kid and saw these hi-top Puma golf shoes. Hi-tops for golf shoes?  Anybody have experience with these?  Curious.....I wasn't expecting to see hi-tops.

Couple of kids on our tour have these. Rickie made them popular initially and I think Michele Wie along with Pat Perez and Keegan are wearing Nike versions of them.

Cool for kids, but you wouldn't find me dead wearing them on the course.

Probably very good for the feet.  My mother's family would have approved.  Back in the late 1950's, early 1960's, my mother refused to allow me to wear any low cut shoes.  I can recall several incidents where my ankle would have broken, if not for hi-tops.  She special ordered the hi-tops, even in dress oxfords, from a foot doctor.  Paid $20 a pair, when excellent shoes were $20.

Of course, back then, no one else wore them, except for basketball shoes.

I got my first low cuts in junior high, a proud day for me.

The last time I had hi-tops (or boots) was in the US Army.  As kekoa said, "Wouldn't find me dead with them."

Best golf shoes I've owned. I've only had them for a few months so they haven't yet proven longevity but they're very comfortable and supportive. I think they look great, some people hate them- to each their own on the looks. I don't think I've worn my tour 360s since my hi-tops arrived. That will probably only change when it becomes too hot to wear pants because (IMO) these shoes look ridiculous with shorts.

If you are over 25 and can pull these off, then you must be in Cali. Are you pairing these with joggers also? This, flat bills, and all orange outfits are only for Rickie, and kids under 13.
