Seems like more and more on posting on wtb and asking for trades or saying Iíll take it but can you wait till the weekend? So this is turning from wanting to buy to not ready to buy right now.

You should also reach 75 post to open a wtb ad.

Or the guy that has created a new WTB every day for the past month looking for a Lamb shield ball marker...makes me wish we could reply to WTB postings.

If somebody would just get him a Lamb ball marker, geez. That's what this place is here for- the sweet deals. What do you expect him to do? Sit around and chat about the golf clubs he comes here to buy and sell, like all the other nerds?

I had responded to a 0 post guy with his request for Xstiff Callaway shaft so i said i have one and he asked for pictures asked a bunch of questions about 10 emails  then he said I’ll take it but i needed to wait 50 hours because that’s when his eBay ad would end. I’m like seriously what a waste of time. Anyway 50 hours past and he deleted our conversation. Man atleast tell me you don’t want it lol. C

Yeah they aren't available from their site except in limited run releases from time to time. I get that he wants one and is asking for help getting one, but there is no need to post that many WTB ads ALL. THE. TIME.

I ran into a guy who wanted a shaft I had for $70. He ran through his entire list of trade offers to which I respectfully declined. He then decided to buy the shaft but wanted to wait for his ebay ad to sell in order to allocate the funds. 3 days later he PMs saying it sells, great right? No he now has to wait for PayPal funds to clear. 5 days later I message the guy bc someone else was interested in the shaft and he says paypal still hadn't cleared. I've been patient and trying to be courteous to his initial interest so I suggested he go ahead and pay the $70 and have the PayPal funds cover it once it was cleared, which had to be any day. He got upset and got on his soap box about how i shouldn't tell him how to manage his finances. What a drama queen. Sold the shaft and received payment from the other guy in 2 min. TL/DR: if you want it, be ready w the funds or don't waste our time

you gave him five days more than I would have, if you don’t have the means to buy something at that moment then don’t say “I’ll take it!!”

WRX members need to start outing the bs members instead of describing what went wrong w/o producing a forum id/name like a couple of examples in this thread. Protect the field so others don't have to deal with the clowns/frauds that seem to pollute the BST folders these days.

It seems too many "after the fact" posts appear in the DoND sub forum w/o a name of the bs artist. That helps no one here.

I disagree. Plenty of shady members or those that did things wrong a variety of ways in a transaction have been outed.

People being irritating or strange is different than people not sending payment or merchandise.

For one, if someone finds newbies or others irritating on BST then they shouldnít go there anymore. It is different if an honest person gets taken for a ride.

Lowball offers or inane questions may be irritating, but not a reason to get booted from the forum.

I posted a for sale ad here once trying to not deal with the bullcrap. I posted if you have zero feedback please do not inquire. I ended up getting grilled for it in my ad.

My biggest gripe about WTB is that listers on there expect "low market" price on the stuff they are looking for. It seems like they missed a great deal on BST and are looking for the same price with someone to hand deliver it to them. Why would someone go out of their way to find YOU what you are looking for AND give you low market price? The seller can just list it on BST and have 10 messages in the first minute.  I feel like it is proper to expect to pay more when someone is saving you the time looking for the product. The most common item is range finders. Everyone wants a bushnell at >$200 or $150. Well no S$&@. also see a lot of listing for clubs that are new releases but they expect to pay last seasons prices. Again. EVERYONE wants that.

The lister should be required to list what they are expecting to pay.

Lookin for a set of mint (insert newest club that has been on the maker less than a week). Hoping to pay no more than 3/4 of what they are retailing for. Also must have Tour XX shafts and undersized leather grips that come from Kobe Beef cows.

Or another favorite is people that are looking for a club that is 5+ years old but want it to be in BNIP condition.

My biggest gripe about WTB is that listers on there expect "low market" price on the stuff they are looking for. It seems like they missed a great deal on BST and are looking for the same price with someone to hand deliver it to them. Hahaha. On a similar note, I'll buy someone a Kobe beef dinner if they hand deliver me a BNIP Titleist 983K with a Vin Diesel AD-DI 7TXXX shaft for $40

3/4 is generous.  I feel like it's usually 1/3.  "Hey, I want BNIP 716 AP2's 3-PW with Tour Modus with Kobe Beef leather grips.  Looking to spend no more than $300.  That's reasonable because it's the previous generation."

Gentlemen, I propose we collaborate great minds and come up with the next high-end ball marker that sells for $400 plus.

May I suggest we establish our trademark as "Blind Sheep" to follow in the footsteps of Tyson Lamb for all the sheep we will be herding on our way to the bank

On a separate note, when I first went out to ebay to see what the heck he was looking for (since it must be awesome if he wants one so bad), it returned the following as one of the top results for 'lamb shield'. Now my question, what the hell is a lamb/pig/goat roaster doing on a tee box?

I think the better question is why is this not more commonly accepted.

Yeah let's not turn this into another Tyson Lamb bashing thread. There are enough of those already. Those were ~$75 when he released them. That one on ebay is going for a ridiculous price.
