So I just picked up a set of these for what seems to be a ridiculous price. I could not find any info on here about them and it seems like no one else has had any luck. I have a set of taper tip shafts coming and I also havenít seen that on the Aldila site. Just wondering if anyone has had a chance to hit these and their thoights. Thanks!

The Rogue Tour 115's were only out for a short period, then they seemed to stop production for (reportedly) some tweaks to the design.  Haven't heard a thing about the re-release schedule.  They were supposed to have replaced the rip tour iron shafts.

But the specs look like they are still on the web-site:
http://www.aldila.com/rogue-iron/

As far as I've seen, the tour 90's were never released (hence all the TBD specs) - that's why I'm assuming you have the 115's.

I believe the lighter Rogue Pro's are still being made/released.

Oh ok. Thanks for that insight. Did you have any experience with them before they stopped production? Also, these have 3.5.7 on the shafts. I have seen some with 2.4.6 on the shaft. And yes, they are the 115Xís. Just had a great price and I am looking to try graphite, but dont really know what to expect and can easily resell here and get my money back if they dont workout. Thanks again.

Also, those are .370 version posted on the website. Not sure if they will be the same or any different.

No, the tip size wont make a difference for those.  They are still sold in descrete lengths even for the parallel - so the only difference is just whether a taper was added to the tip as a last step (or not).

And sorry, no personal experience.   Would have grabbed a 90 if it had been released, but the 115's are too heavy for me.

Yeah, I've seen these for sale for a ridiculous price and I am intrigued as well. I absolutely loved the RIP tour iron shafts but the X flex was crazy boardy. You can't find the S flex in the RIP tour. I was hoping to try these out and I might just because of how cheap they are.

If it helps, I contacted Aldila asking about the differences in the new Rogue iron shafts with respect to the previous RIP iron shafts.   They basically told me that one of the major changes was "fixing" (my words not theirs) the overly stiff design of the RIP's.  So I'd expect the Rogue's to be much more closer to a 'normal' stiffness for the given flex.

Ok, so here is what I got back from Aldila after sending the same picture and asking for info:

-The pictured shafts were made for tour. They were what we were going to
bring to market, but they have been put on hold for now. The shafts will
be mid to low launch and spin.

Well, I sold them bc they weren’t the right fit for my game, but theylm were a really solid product. I’m a mid-high ballflight guy and always want to be closer to mid if possible. The short irons flew too high for me and I felt like I lost distance because of it. The mid and long irons flew higher than normal but it was strong and distance was fine. They didn’t seem to get spinny, as I was hitting outdoors into a decent wind and still getting the 3i to 215 with highish flight. Feel was superb. Extremely smooth and muted feel, but still good. I wish they had been a better fit for me but just not quite right.

I got my father inlaws set done and soft stepped them to a stiff plus or so hes 52 and still swings around 108 average w a driver. Hes a high ball hitter and these shafts seem to be mid to high launch for him and he has gained about a club in distance w each club. He hit a few today they got a little spinny into the wind but nothing out of the ordinary and he made it through the round without complaining about his hands hurting which is the reason he switched to graphite in the first place Posted Image

I'm a little disappointed to see mid to high launch from these. Would have expected lower. I am looking for a set of stiff if anyone sees some. Found a single on eBay to try.
