Tiger will get hurt. Mount a comeback. And it will be crazy.

Gary Player will do multiple one armed push ups, both arms, on top of Mount Fuji.

Jim Nantz will.....never mind.

John Daly will recover and top ten at Masters.  Serious.

I'm going with Rory having a big year, including a major or two and POY plus back to #1 in OWGR.

Justin Thomas has a better year than Spieth, though Spieth still wins a few times.

Uihlein wins ROY, just barely over McNealy.  They both win events but Uihlein makes more money.

Off years for Hideki, DJ, Day, and Reed.  One win for DJ, zero for the rest.

Good years for Sneds, Pieters, Oosthuizen, and Branden Grace.  1+ wins for all of them, lots of top 10s.

Poulter, Bubba, Horshel and Zach Johnson all struggle to make cuts.

A big Rahm meltdown while leading a major.  BIG.  It's going to be spectacular.  But he'll win one either late 2018 or in 2019, a la Rory's Augusta meltdown before Congressional.

Dark horse picks for big years--I'm going with team Canada on this one--Adam Hadwin and Graham DeLeat.

Tiger?  Eh, who knows.  I'm a pessimist--put me down for a few backdoor top 10s and more WDs than wins.

Rory winning at Augusta and Spieth at the PGA would make for a memorable year.  Might as well give ol Phil the US Open too.

Rory at Augusta (career grand slam after a previous meltdown).
Phil at Shinnecock (career grand slam after doubling 17 while leading on Sunday to lose to Goosen in '04).
Tiger at Carnoustie (shadows of Hogan in '53).
Spieth at Bellerive (career grand slam at a very young age).

That's a heck of a year!  I'm all for it!

I'd just love to see everybody healthy (Rory, DJ, Day, Tiger) for the entire year.  Put those guys in with all of the young studs and you could have a heck of a year.

Tiger wins all 4 majors and reconciles with Elin and Butch (who teaches him a knee and back saving swing). He accomplishes all this by switching to playing left handed.

Another year for the young players;

More wins for the under 30's than the over 30's.

Four first time major winner's.

Europe beat a star-studded US team and Furyk gets thrown under the bus by Phil.

You're exactly right.  I just looked it up (hadn't before I posted, obviously, lol) and was surprised to see there's a massive drop off from the top 4 to the rest of the top 10.

Unless Rory wins two majors its going to be almost impossible to be #1. DJ would have to miss a ton of cuts and Rory would Win big time and top 10-15 the rest.

You're exactly right.  I just looked it up (hadn't before I posted, obviously, lol) and was surprised to see there's a massive drop off from the top 4 to the rest of the top 10.

All in all I hope to see him play well. This has the makings of the greatest season ever.

Possible Winners
Jordan Spieth
Justin Thomas (already has one)
Dustin Johnson
Rory Mcliroy
Rickie Fowler
Brooks Koepka
Xander
John Rahm
Sergio
Hiediki
Si Woo Kim

Plus Tigers return. Maybe Tiger vs Phil one more time. It has the making of a 30 for 30

Spencer Levin gets his pants hemmed. Jeff Overton returns with a last gasp “Boom Baby” and throws up a T26 finish in an opposite field event. Freddie Jacobsen and Alex Cjeka take shirt tucking in lessons. Ian Poulter complains about something randomly after his name is not heard all season amidst a flurry of missed cuts and 53rd place finishes. Jordan Spieth is spotted yelling at unopened dozens of golf balls to “sit!”

Tiger Woods wins the Masters breaking his 1997 score. Heads of state from around the globe break down in tears and declare the first international holiday...

Tiger Day.

Tigers win is DQ and Tiger Day declared null and void when it is discovered that his golf ball was a 5 piece ball made of
Vicodin, Dilaudid, Xanax, Ambien and THC which, upon contact detonated, making us all hallucinate his win.
