Any rumors of new balls coming out of Callaway?  Their CEO mentioned new ball launches in 2018 (see below).  Do you only expect more TruVis colors or is something else on the way?

Very excited to see how they follow up Chrome Soft and CSX.

"[the new golf ball plant] improves the quality of the product and it also adds new capabilities from a technology perspective that we will be incorporating into some of our new products that we'll announce for next year and it also adds incremental capacity"

Not sure what is coming out but the Chrome soft is on sell everywhere which means something new will be coming out.

Yep!  This is my thoughts too!  If everyone is selling it at a discount like it is, I also think that the next version of the ball is being released.

I like free personalization and $32 - but it'll cost $3 more to call your number.

The worst part of a new ball or version of the ball when it comes out is that you don't know if it will be better or worse for you than the previous version!  I have stocked up on a few dozen of the CS's but can't wait to see what new improvements come out in the new ball!  I didn't know that was even possible!  :)

They need to put the truvis pattern on whatever comes next. All it is is a print. They can put it on any of the balls.

Just posted this in another thread, but if callaway is listening:

I want a ball that feels like the current chromesoft, plays like the X off of irons/woods, spins like a ksig around the greens, and has yellow/black or other bright truvis colors to easily differentiate my ball from the group when we are coming down the fairway.

And make them cheaper.

That is all.

I heard the same thing, Callaway is going after the Volvik Vivid market with colors and matte finish.

My research indicates Volvik has about a 2% market share in the US, but it's increasing due to it's matte colored golf balls and increasing demographic of female golfers.

Many companies are trying to capitalize on the failure of Volvik to fill orders recently. Our August 9th order partially arrived November 4th, missing 2 colors of vivid.

I know I reached out to Wilson about their matte ball since we seemed to be unable to get volvik consistantly.

The ball is flying off the shelves everywhere I have seen it, shocked to see elwhippy's comment, must be located somewhere in the midwest where I could see volvik taking a while to get to.

I still prefer and play the Hex Chrome + head and shoulders above the newer offerings. For me the Nike RZN Tour Black was also a recent favorite.  Maybe Callay can get some of that Rock love.
