Can someone shed some light on this mirror coated lens issue on this model?

About the only place I see it is on Amazon and everyone is freaking out.  I would like to buy one from Costco but these Amazon reviews are spooking me a little bit.  I find it odd that I don't see much about it elsewhere, however.

Also, taking suggestions for a good rangefinder with slope if anyone has one.

No idea what they’re talking about.  I use mine under all light conditions, even well into twilight and I’ve had no issues. The people that are complaining likely are trying to use them well after they should be off the course and can’t see anyway.

The only issue I’ve ever had is in fog or a misty rain.  The numerous droplets scatter the laser and you can’t get a reading.

If you are used to using one of Bushnell's model without the mirrored lens, you will notice a difference.  I had a 1600 prior to the Tour X.  I did not like the darkness of the lens.  I switched to a Pro X2, and couldn't be happier.

I had a few issues with the Tour X not working early in the morning when the sun was coming up, and I'm the evening when the sun was going down. Every time was within normal golfing hours.

If the sun was near the flag, I would sometimes get an error code - e32 (if I'm remembering correctly)

Didn't happen often, but it was annoying.
I finally found a driver shaft I really like in the T1100, but I still plan on testing new shafts. I just got a pxg 0311T 3 and 4 iron, I plan on keeping them in the bag when normal golf resumes. But, I might end up using the hybrids when playing simulator golf. I'm currently using a Toulon Indianapolis, but I am also using my old Spider Limited Edition Red once in a while

Titleist Vokey Wedgeworks SM6 RAW - 50F - 54S - 58M
Toulon Indianapolis or Spider Limited Edition Red

When I need the ball to land soft, or I am playing in a simulator, I'll sub in these hybrids for my 3 and 4 irons.

I've had a couple of instances of error codes, out of +/- 1000 uses.

I've used it many times right before dark, where you follow the flight of the ball.
