The shape of the driver seems nice, but "Power Holes" and those black dots have to be sanded down, or filled in, or covered in bondo... Something.

Other than that, looks great. And I dig the red color. Maybe "Veloci-Slots" or "Energy Voids" or "Power Spaces" or "Kinetic Chamber"?

"Power Hole" sounds like, as someone said earlier, part of a dirty joke, or, like a used car salesman explaining a bullet hole in a car.

"That? Oh, that is the... uh... Power... Hole? Yeah, Power Hole! That's it. A hole that gives you power. Definitely not a bullet hole."

Besides the fact that the driver doesn't say TaylorMade what the hell is wrong with it.The color is not traditional but no one bitched about he Covert. The crown has 2 "black marks"  that actually frame the sweet spot, even if that's not the intention. the overall shape seems to resemble a that old school pare shape.  I don't believe that anyone moaned when Callaway and Cobra had 27,000 different colored drivers. Also, to my latter point, if TM was slapped on this you would all be asking your moms why your undies were wet in the morning or if you a bit older you would be tucking it under your belt before you got up to speak in front of class.

On another note, I play the V4 irons and they are legitimately the best feeling and looking irons. The follow up V6 has a slightly different shape but still better than almost every other offering you all fawn over. If wilson only hadn't gone down the cheap box rout years ago.....
I actually love the color and shape fine.   My comment was about the power holes/slots on top of the crown.

Irons look pretty slick.  They'll definitely work and feel great.  Another good iron by Wilson.  I know they're trying to shed the "box of clubs" moniker, but they're putting out good stuff.  We just can't sell it like we can other brands because of that.

Like the red color on the driver but I can't deal with the "holes" either.

Love people dissing the holes even though almost every driver out has something on the crown these days.....

At address these things look amazing and they do frame the ball. Plus the feel and results take care of themselves.
Forever Changing at this point.......

Literally not trying to be a dick...the driver doesn't have "holes". How ever you look at them clearly there was some metal removed or by design was never was there. Yes that would be a whole BUT it appears to me the spots have been filled with "elastomer" or whatever you want to call it.

The basic head shape of the driver looks ok...but I've never been a fan of visible slots on top of any club. The irons do look ok from the top too. So there are some positives appearance wise I guess.

Will be interesting to see how they perform.

Like to see them also without all those holes. I’ve got a stable of the current PMPs and they’re as good as any wedge I’ve got, and I’ve got a ton of wedges!! 52/58 PMPs in play, 58 has Tour grind that was bent from a 56 for more bounce. Also have the tour grind in 56,60 and a 55 wide sole. Great wedges!

The C300 forged irons are right up my alley.

And the shape of the driver is outstanding. Not a fan of the visible slots (could have painted over them and outlined them to show the tech) and even Ping removed the word Turbulators, so I wish Power Holes wasn't painted on, but I'll reserve judgement until I see it in person.

The irons look really good and I really like the driver, both the colour and the traditional pear shape  (if only Callaway would release a next gen driver like the Razr FitXtreme or DBD 815/816).

I'm putting this driver on the short list for 2018.  WIlson may surprise with a very premium shaft option (ie. Tensei Orange) similar to what they did with the Rogue MSI 125 in the Triton.

Interesting, checked the 2017 Most Wanted Driver test, the D300 had the fastest clubhead speed even though they finished middle of the pack.  It's not that Wilson doesn't know how to make a decent driver.

the irons have a bit of almost the AP line look. i am not a fan of the driver color at all but here is the thing, what works for some doesn't work for all so hopefully they can keep improving their offerings. Their Staff FG Tour V6 are absolutely brilliant to hit.
