Ok, here is the finished Tour Proto version of Aldila's new Tour Only SYNERGY shaft. Below you will see Trackman data against the two lowest spin shafts that we have tested, that didn't hit 6 feet off the ground or feel like a telephone pole. As you can see, the Synergy is launching the same or higher, with incredibly low spin. How is it doing this? I don't exactly know, but it has to be the inclusion of graphene in the material construction. As it is a true Tour Proto, I don't have all the finite details on exactly how or where, but I can tell you it's the first graphite shaft using graphene and we have the data to prove the results. Below I have included a couple articles on graphene for the techies out there. Basically it's the strongest fiber ever tested and over 200 times stronger than steel.

Man I wish you could shed some light on comparisons to things like ATMOS black or T1100. I have both. The ATMOS is tipped 1.25" and plays very well but I'm always looking for the edge! Lol

Here is a thread that compares Kuro Kage Dual Core XT with those two shafts. And above are the graphs that compare Synergy with KKDCXT. That should give you the info you are looking for.

We have 3 different variations of tipping based on the player's swing speed and load. I have 2 more data sheets to put up as well with slower speed players.

I have the orange pro v2 70 tx right now, but I’m kinda interested to try both this and the KKDC TX. Good thing Christmas is coming up....

i had the orange pro v2 in 60TX and it was considerably 'looser' than the synergy. the synergy wants to go straight as an arrow, piercing launch to apex then just keeps going.

I'd say it feels a lot like the Dual Core XT in terms of actual loading in the swing. It's got that tight feeling when you step on it, but isn't unmanageable feeling when you smooth it. The dispersion, while not shown in the data block is very consistent. It's a very traditionally balanced shaft, tending to be a bit more tip heavy. No counterbalance at all. The one thing I can say is that, you know how if you slightly toe one, on some shafts you can feel it deflect and torque the face open, well this shaft does not do that. It feels very low torque on the mishits, and holds the line very well. It is extremely low spin on center to toe hits as well.

Were the test clubs tipped the same? Seeing the difference in spin between the 6 series and 7 series is interesting but also the ball speed diffence between the 2. Do you know the raw weights on each? I play heavy(upper 70 low 80s) usually simply because anything in the 60 gram range is loose for me.  Of course ss and ballspeed of the 6 series and spin of the 7 series would be ideal.  Wondering what the best combination might be.

As I clarified above, we tip them differently depending on the player's swing speed and load. There are 1 inch tipped, .5 inch tipped, and untipped test shafts. Whatever one the player needs, is applied to all of the shafts in his particular test block. The reason you see a ball speed increase in the 65 is because the shaft is lighter and most guys pick up 1-2 mph of swing speed, which will translate into a slight ball speed increase. I'm happy to help fit you into what would work best, including tipping recommendations, etc. We just ask that you complete purchase first, then I will go through the entire process to make sure you get dialed in correctly.

Thanks, I understood that part. I was meaning more specifically for you, was the 60tx and 70tx tipped the same for you specifically?

Yes. All shafts in a players test block are all tipped identically for the sake of valid comparison.

I just put the Synergy 75tx, in play this weekend with my 2016M1 9.5 head, tipped 1", playing 44.5" I had been playing a KK DC XT70, tipped 1", 44.5". After a fitting with JT, I saw my spin rate drop about 500rpm, increase ball speed of 3-4mph and 10 yards extra carry. I put it in play last Saturday in 35* temps, with 20-30 mph winds. Even in to cold, the shaft had great feel, very smooth and was able to get good distance even on a couple mishits. The lower spin was awesome into the wind, but I could still launch it downwind. All in all, this is a crazy good shaft. I'm looking forward to getting to play with it next summer in warmer weather.

How was launch compared to your current gamer? Feel? I play the DCXT TX 60 tipped .5" and looking for change?

If I'm playing a KK DCXT 70 TX tipped 1"...where would I fit in terms of the SYNERGY?

What are you looking to do? Retain the same launch and spin or drop the spin?

I just put the Synergy 75tx, in play this weekend with my 2016M1 9.5 head, tipped 1", playing 44.5" I had been playing a KK XT70, tipped 1", 44.5".

His launch angle was nearly identical.

Curious what head the testers were using?  Looks like pretty solid combinations. ;-)

It launched a bit lower on the course, but I don't think its a true reflection since it was so cold, and I was wearing 4 layers of clothes. On the monitor, the launch was pretty much the same as the KK. The feel is very similar between the two. I like the feel of the Synergy a bit more when I really leaned in to it. Very stable, not much tourque at all.

6 yards from just shaft alone is pretty impressive. Not a shaft for me, but I'm sure a ton of high level guys will want to get this.

For anyone interested in these, we are down to only two pieces left in 75 gram. If you want one I would suggest making sure you get it now.
