I would strongly recommend that everyone try some of these( Snell,Vice,Kirkland Signature) golf balls.
I have played with all three and I find them to be every bit as good as Titleist ProVs and other high end golf balls sold by major manufacturers and they cost considerably less.

I play the Vice Pros. I can't tell a difference in them and the ProV1X's I normally play.

I play the snells and they’re great. The spin chart from golf digest showing them having the closest spin to a ProV1 than any other ball.

I’ve found the Snell to be more durable than the vice but the vice is a great ball
Looking at new clubs, will update shortly!

I would like to try the Snell's MTB and would be willing to swap a couple of sleeve's of other balls for a couple of sleeve's of them. I have the K-sig's.

i have played them all and they are all great. i feel that the ksig is the best of the bunch. i have played it side by side with the vice pro + and would say it wins in every catagory. i have not played the snell ball in a while. i was not that happy with it when i did. i have been wanting to give it another try but have not.

I too have been bombarded with Cut advertising and finally succumbed to buying a dozen to try out this weekend.  They just came in last night and they were just four sleeves in a USPS box, which was peculiar but not a big deal.  Will let you know how they play after the weekend..

I generally play ProV1s and picked up K-Sigs from the recent Costco sale and fell in love with them due to both the price and feel.  I worry about sustainability of playing K-Sigs due to inventory (and my knack of losing a few per round), so I am in a market for a cheaper option going forward..

I've technically played all three, the MTB I found on the course.  Slightly beat up, but it didn't alter the feel or ability of the ball.

I'm playing another 18 with the Vice Pro+ this Saturday (2nd round).  Just got the neon's... #excited  however, i dont like the neon red as much as i thought i would.  Too glossy of a finish.  Ill add photos later.

K-Sigs have been played multiple times.  Love em.  Still have 2 dozen left over.

A good golf ball isn't hard to come by anymore.  All three balls are great in my opinion.  The K-Sig looks more like a premium ball to me.  The marketing and branding on the Vice Pro+ is awesome.  The Snell looks like a cheap ball and doesn't fit my eye.

I have the reds. I find them really hard to see. Yellow glows and looks like it is moving in slow motion. the reds disappear and are really hard to spot on the ground. ESPECIALLY in current fall conditions. Forget about it. perfect drivers disappear.

Kirklands, Vice Pro+ and Snell MTBs. I have played with all of them. When you talk about these, you have to include mention of Cut golf balls, too.

I can't remember what Peter Finch called them but, he is reviewing the budget balls that are playing like top balls. "Guerrilla Golf Ball Testing" I believe is it. He shows that most of these cheap balls are very good.

The Kirkland is the best priced ball for the performance. My only gripe with these is durability. It beyond blows.
Vice Pro+: I have 5 dozen of these in my room and am waiting to get rid of my what is left in my current bag before I play them but, they are my favorite ball of choice in the group.
Snell MTBs: Decent. Not incredible but not garbage. They just do their thing. They spin, are soft, go relatively far, but, I just don't seem to have luck with them.
Golf makes me mad. Paintball calms me down.

I have played all four brands.
I didn't like the Cut ball nearly as much as the ksig and snell. I must have played an older Vice ball because I thought it was awful, lost distance thru the bag and it felt terrible.
I usually play ProV1x and ChromeSoft.

Don't forget the MG Tour C4, it's been around longer than the rest, is cheaper than all but the KSig, and works just as well. Grab some of MG's gloves too since they're phenomenal.

I've gamed them all except the Cut balls and get similar distances and spin so it comes down to feel and price for me. So when I'm low on KSigs and don't feel like ordering 5A used balls I usually go with the MGs.

The Vice Pro Plus in Red is my favorite ball in this category.  Super easy to track in the air and find in the rough  and the performance is right in line with everything else.

I have played my last 3 rounds with the Snell MTB and I have to say that I have grown to like it very much. It feels soft off the driver face and for some reason I seems to go a few yards further but that could be my imagination as well. I still love the VICE Pros and of course the K-SIGS.

The more I play with these balls (Vice,K-SIGs and Snell) and think about the millions of dollars they save amateur golfers over time, the more convinced I become that these are the wave of the future. There is just too much marketing and overhead costs imbedded in the high priced "big brand" golf balls. Who should care that they don't play the ball that one of the leading tour players hits as long as the quality is very close or equal to the much costlier "big branded" golf ball. We all know that they get paid handsomely to play certain balls and equipment. I don't begrudge them for taking advantage of the opportunity. I just don't want to be the dumb consumer that falls for such marketing hype. By the way, I spend a lot of money on golf clubs, private golf club memberships and overseas golf trips. It's not like I have to play an inferior golf ball because of budget constraints. No different than I buy all my high quality prime meat at Costco and shop Amazon for the best deals. I would probably play the PRO Vs if they were $2.00/ball.

I paid $2.84/ball for my current favorite brand new, retail packaged 2017 ProV1x stash. Last year it was 2014 B330 purchased new for around $1.55/ball.

All these supposedly revolutionary brands are bringing to the table is the ability to source good urethane balls affordably without having to shop around like I do.

Which is nice of them.

Not just affordable, but in some cases only 1/2 as expensive of some of these deals you have to shop around for. For many golfers, it's a significant amount. Why bother shopping around,  when you can find similar balls for 30-50% less - unless one loves ProV1s that much?

The only new, urethane balls I've ever seen for half the price of my 2014 B330 was the old Lethal PRACTICE deal on Woot.

Some people get a warm, fuzzy feeling from "discovering" they can get six dozen Snells for $160 or by camping out on Costco.com long enough to snag K-Sigs at $30 (plus shipping, tax and membership fee) per double dozen.

Others of us get a warm, fuzzy feeling from scoring four dozen brand new ProV1x for $125 on eBay.

It all depends on whether you get off on finding cheap deals on high-priced balls or on finding cheap balls that are Just As Good ™ as the high-priced ones. We all have to follow our joy.

P.S. I will say that I go through slightly less than one ball per round on average. Given that my cost of playing at my club works out to around $30/round the difference between even a $1 ball vs. a $5 ball is negligible. But I can't help it, I love a deal.

This is true, everybody buys stuff for different reasons and different price points for the most part.  For me, I use Chrome Soft's and usually buy them 5A for less than $2 a ball and I am fine with that, even if I lose two or three in a bad round.  But I also don't pay $100 for a round of golf either, not that there is anything wrong with that but I just don't.

I guess I go by the "cost vs rewards" idea so if I can find a ball that is only $1 each but plays like my $2 ball, then I am fine with that, the same way I can find a $2 ball that plays like a $4 ball. The same way if I spend $50 on golf instead of $100, again I am fine with that cause I still got out for a round.  Now if I was invited to a course I never played before and it is suppose to be "the holy grail" of courses, then I might shell it out the one time to say I played it and to see what the hype is all about!

I guess what I am trying to say it that you don't have to spend $50 for dozen balls or play a $100 course to enjoy the game but if you want to, that is your choice for sure and I respect that.  We all do what we want to do and spend for the game of golf!  :)

I'd quit buying a new hybrid or fairway wood every other month if I really cared about not spending money for no good reason!

I've gamed the Snell MTB for 2 years now and I am very, very happy with them.  I've got 4 dozen left after this season and I just purchased 4 dozen K-Sigs the other week (just because they were available online for me with my membership and I thought "what the hell").  I've not hit the K-Sig yet, but look forward to it next year.  With that being said, I don't expect the current K-Sigs to be available for much longer due to their source running out of the over-run cores - good thing I'm happy with the Snells.
