Perhaps a rube question, but will any type of non-OEM mallet head over fit a Ping Tyne? Thinking something in the Seamus, Sunfish, RoseFire vein would be cool but want something that fits like a glove first.

I guess it was a rube question to draw no responses!

I have found that the mallet headcovers from PING are a bit big for their putters.  I have two Cadence TR covers that are in storage replaced by this: https://www.ebay.com...872.m2749.l2649

I have one in black and another in white.  The bonuses: Inexpensive but well-made, snug fit,  nice velour lining, and magnetic closure.

The Rose and Fire mallet covers fit a Spider Tour snugly so I'd think they'd fit the Tyne well too.  There is A LOT of padding in the R&F covers so they may look big on the outside but still fit snug on the inside.  And they have some give so even their standard covers fit mid mallets like a 330, fastback, 1 wide and similar.  They are excellent covers all around.
