Now that winter is starting to set in up here, I'd play throw any amount of exhaustion to be out on the course for consecutive days.

Oh man, this makes me think I need golf rehab.

This year I had a 25 day straight streak and a 15 day straight streak during the summer.

And the 25 day would have been longer, but my wife and I went to Cuba for two weeks LOL.

I might only play 9 or 12 holes during the stretch, but I'm usually out at the course 6 days a week.

Our season is only 7 months long though so I gotta put in twice the work in half the time

EDIT: The most "dense" stretch I've had was our week long Bandon Dunes trip in 15. 7 rounds over 4 days, plus 18 at shorties the night we arrived. Also played the Home Course in Washington on the way down and Sand Pines on the way home.

I think it was 10 rounds in a week all walking.

I've done 9 in a row a few times when taking a week off work but I'm hoping to get 3 in a row this weekend, starting Friday. This time though it's more about the weather and amazingly it seems to be cooperating so far. A touch of frost tomorrow but that should clear before I hit the course. I can't tee off until lunch anyway because Friday is old fogey's day (he says, noting that in 3 months time he will be 51).

Retirement is good, I

Too much of anything is not good and will defeat the original purpose.

Even when I was younger, a string of several weeks of golf ( sometimes 36 holes per day ) eventually had the mental fatigue effect.   Ideal situation for me even after retirement is perhaps golf every other day or 2-3 time per week, this way I'll always looking forward to get on the golf course instead of feeling like going back to work 9-5 again.

I almost never have the time or opportunity to play in long stretches, but did get a chance at nine straight days in August.

Lasted five, but really struggled with my lower back by day four.

My "plan" after retirement to play every Monday through Friday and take the weekends off... we'll see.

My longest streak this season was 38 days in a row, if it wasn't for some rainy day washouts it would have been longer.  It's not just about the golf. At 62 I find the walking, sunshine (well, not all the time lol), and fresh air to be good for me.

Consecutive days are rare.  Play 3 days a week usually..... Tuesday, Thursday, and the occasional back nine early on Sunday.  Try and avoid weekend golf.  At the course 6 days a week on average.... hitting balls and marshaling take up a large part.

I retired in 2014, and the following year I posted 246 rounds...and probably played another dozen rounds or so that couldn't be posted. I routinely played 5 rounds a week, sometimes 6. But no more...
Now 3 consecutive days is my maximum. It's nothing serious, just a few more aches and pains, and I could play more if I had to, but I just play better when I don't overdo it.

On the backside of my 60's and recently played 3 in a row then every other day for 12 rounds.  All Par 72, lowest rated was 71 with lowest slope 126, 6400-6600yds, lowest rd was 75, highest 79.  To say I was pooped just doesn't cover it.

Any more than 3 in a row, and fatigue hurts the score and my overall pep.
Very demanding desk job with appointments in and out of the office, lots of 6am wakeup and home at 8pm days. Not great for conditioning. I've played a shocking amount of rounds last 2 yrs despite my schedule, but...

On my week vacation this summer, I played 9 out of 10 days (with the 10 days starting Fri after work and then the time off including weekends).

The day off came after back-to-back 18-hole rounds.  The remainder were 9-hole rounds.

I think two days in a row is just about my limit for a full 18-hole round and then I lose interest.

I could play 9 holes just about everyday forever if my schedule allowed.  Now if I could just go find that winning lottery ticket ...

I will go 20-25 days in a row of playing at least a few holes. I tend to at least go work on something every day unless I'm traveling, have some work event, or the social director has made other plans for me though she thankfully tends to be very understanding with my golf. When it comes to the height of my tournament season I will generally play fewer holes and do more range work.

In May 09, I believe it was, I was getting a new job and took a couple of weeks off between.  Played 15 days in a row, had a couple of lessons in that stretch as well (went from lesson to course), and it was fantastic.  Short game probably was never better during that time.
