I just put 6 days in a row in. Need a few days for the old back to cool off. Lots of Aleve.
Taking 3 days off and then itís s back to the course.

Retirement is good, I 🤔

I'll let you know when I miss one...j/k

I play pretty much every day, but probably miss one every two to three weeks if I have a conflict or if the weather is really bad.

I lose focus.  Played a four round event in mid thirties, 74, 76, 82, 87.  Mentally fatiguing.

I guess I haven’t really found that point yet. But I think probably the most days ina row I’ve played is eight on our Nevada trip. We do sprinkle a couple of 36 hole days in there though.

Since my weekday rounds can be 9 holes walking I can go until the weather doesn't hold out. I have a bad back but just suffer my way through it. It may take me a few minutes to be able to straighten up after getting out of the car after even a nine hole round but.... I'm playing golf.

Never counted a specific number of days but it at least in the teens.

Walking: 4 days in a row and I'm tired, especially my forearms. I can keep playing but my game suffers.

Riding: I could play all week. Much quicker recovery time (I feel like I barely did anything physical during these rounds.)

I play six days a week and have for a couple of years.  We take Wednesdays off just to get things done around the house and to clear our heads a bit.  When you play every single day, it’s very easy to lose focus and to quickly write off a round because you got off to a bad start.

I think the most we did in a row before settling on the six day rule was probably 35 or 36.  By the end, it kind of felt like a job.

I think I've done 5 days in a row before. I think I could easily do 7 days in a row if it was 18 each day, and each round was a speedy 3.5 hours or less. That lessens the mental fatigue.

I had a couple stretches this year of 14ish days in a row, weather being the biggest factor for me. My season is winding down here in NY though unfortunately. I really need an indoor setup for the winter but my apartment ceilings aren't high enough.

Twice this year I took the week off work and played Saturday thru' Sunday. Nine days in a trot and I was up for more. In fact now I remember the last week in August I played two rounds of 18 on one day so that was ten rounds over nine days.

I was fifty this year but I always walk for four miles every lunch time (or slightly more since I cruise at over 4mph).

This is one of the routes I take during the summer from the office.

Three days and my body rebels.  Plus, without travel, I only have one available course, so my focus gets lost.

I really like the ability to write off a bad round. When I only played on the weekends, a bad round would ruin my whole day. Now that I play almost every day, if I play poorly, I just shrug it off, and get after it the next day. I used to be a rotten SOB if I was playing bad, now I act as if I don't really care. I try to have the same attitude regardless. As a result, the overall quality of my play has improved. I usually play during the week, and take weekends off.

I have played 4 days in a row during guys golf trips but that was over 15 years ago.  With my current back condition I could probably play 3 times/week but I need to have a day's rest in between  On some of the golf trips to Myrtle we used to play 36 holes/day and after a while the focus definitely lessens.  I hope to retire in a year or two and between my regular chiropractic adjustments and ibuprofen I hope to play 2-3 times/week

I would just like the opportunity to find out.  I can probably count on one hand the number of times I have played 2 days in a row.  I've walked 36 holes in one day a couple times.

Barring injury, family crisis, or horrible weather, I play every day. I played my 121st round of the season today. Anything over 100 rounds in New England is bonus golf! We had a very wet spring but we have had terrific fall weather.

I could probably play every day forever.  Physically i have been fortunate no nagging injuries and a good back.  Mentally after 5-6 days of golf I need a break.  I've played 17 straight days back in the early 2000's and  my game started to struggle...I had to take a week off.

I'm a bit envious of this group. At 65 with multiple old unhealed fractures in lumbar and upper back, torn and compressed discs and both hips that need surgery, have me down to one day in a row. Walked 18 on The Ocean Course at Kiawah yesterday and struggled to get out of bed this morning. Can't complain as I've been fortunate enough up to a few years ago to play as much as most people in a life time. I think being able to play less makes me enjoy what time I get on the course quite a bit more these days and helps keep things in perspective.

My longest stretch was 9 rounds in 6 days (2/1/2/1/2/1). I had to head to the airport, but I have a feeling I would have rested on the 7th day. Lol.

My "densest" stretch was 9 rounds in 5 days (2/2/2/2/1). Ye 'ol back needed a rest after that one.

If I limited myself to one round a day, I'm not sure if I'd stop.

since this is a hypothetical. my answer is infinity. without rain or injury getting in the way i could play infinity.

played 36 a day for 7 days in april. probably played 18 the few days before that. got home and wanted to work on stuff so i think i played another 4 days straight. only stopped because i ran out of vacation days.

dont need a mental break. dont always keep score so if i was mentally fatigued i would just go out and screw around

I go on an annual trip to Myrtle where we drive there Sunday morning, play 18 in the afternoon, then do 36 holes Monday-Wednesday, then 18 Thursday morning before driving home in the afternoon. Thatís 8 rounds plus two 7 hour drives in 5 days.

The first few years, Tuesday was usually tough first thing in the morning, then again on the last 9 of the day. Once I pushed through that day, Wed and Thurs were usually really good golf. Now, Iíve learned the secret is to take a couple Advil each morning and evening of the trip regardless of whether Iím sore. I usually go home wishing I could keep playing every day.

Once Iím back to real life, Iím not even reliably able play once a week. I have no idea how many days in a row I could play 18., but I donít think my body would be the limiting factor. I suspect Iíd quickly lose the patience to play on weekends if I could play M-F though.
