So I see a lot of WRXers are very knowledgable on JDM brands, most common and also niche brands, for example
Srixon, Miura, Miura Giken, OnOff, Baldio, Honma, Kyoei, Grindworks, Yamaha, Yonex, Mizuno, Fourteen, Epon, Yamada, Itobori, Macgregor, Lynx, just to name a few.

But there are more obscure JDM equipment manufactures out there  "currently" producing, that only a handful of us have come across.

So I thought maybe a thread like this - people could add details of such obscure brands whether it be clubs, shafts or other equipment. Example pictures of current products will be great!

So to start off with I am adding AM'z Crafted Golf (which I posted earlier today) who is a fitter in Japan that also has a set of forged blades they make.  https://www.amz-golf.com  and Max Soul  http://www.maxsoulgolf.com.  Noted for woods!

Yes I know sites linked will be in Japanese! But google translate feature of translating website pages is fairly good!

Roots Golf, a subdivision of the Gosen corp. http://www.rootsgolf.jp/index.php.

Super Aermet, a carpenter steel alloy, is used across their family of clubs from driver cup faces through to irons etc, all at COR limits.
The brand targets the "average" golfer rather than the "athlete" golfer, but does have a few better player models. High end price points.

Some may remember Aermet from the Snake Eyes Fire Forged clubs some years back and the AGT Supernovas.
.......................................................................
GIII or Grand Golf Gear is the "golf plated" end of Onoff/Daiwa, targeting the same JDM segment as the highest end Honma and Maruman clubs.
http://g3.globeride.co.jp/
........................................................................
Fuso Dream (incorporating Buchi and Solid Contacts) http://fusodream.com/jp/
............................................................................
Metal Factory http://www.metal-factory.jp/
........................................................................
Yururi wedges and irons, Hiskei components. There are many, many shaft companies too

If you are into putters, kitada, design tuning, docus, and of course masamoto.

Baldo has some interesting putters and blades/cncs as well.

Roddio woods and hybrids are also badass.  I have a hybrid and love it.  If I can ever learn to hit driver again I am going to treat myself to the same style driver which will hopefully be a lot cheaper used by then as the years pass.

Seven Golf which has some links with Kitada Golf

http://www.sevengolf.com/products/

Apparently the current Seven CB irons are completely 360NC milled from a solid block of forged steel where as other high end clubs only CNC the back cavity of the head and not the shape the new SEVEN CB is 100% milled from hosel to toe!
