I’ve been an avid golfer for 30+ years, and I would say I probably have an unhealthy addiction to new clubs. I’m a 12.8 handicap, so I’m certainly not an authority on anything golf related. I’ve probably bought close to 15 sets of new irons in my golf life. Ashamed, many of the irons I’ve gotten rid of (for pennies on the dollar) improved my game considerably, and I should still be playing. There is however, one set I could never part from; the only ones that have a place in my home like a fine piece art, my 2002 Mizuno  MP 30’s. How about you, any set you can’t part ways with? Just got my new Titleist AP3’s on Friday of last week btw...

Nice to know the pr-gr idbls are held in such high regard,  one can only guess at the number   of high end irons you have been in contact with over the years.

Glad i hung onto my set.

It's easy to forget how good they are when we are continually bombarded with new equipment choices.

At this moment, I'd have to say my Onoff Kuros, but, I just bought a set of Epon 302s that I've only played twice, sooooo, this may change soon.

I have the Honma 717m and I feel the same way about them.  I tried the 727m and it's just as good.  These are almost the perfect iron to my eye.  I'm constantly looking but always feel like I already have the perfect iron when I do.

Beautiful irons, are these your backups?  They don't look to have ever been hit.

OnOff 2011 or 2013 irons. At some point I'll try the 2015/2017/CB358 but for this thread these are the ones. I need to educate those who game Titleist/Callaway/Ping/Taylormade/Cobra etc.

I too have had a fascination with buying new irons only to end up with my Ping S55's back in the bag in a short amount of time.  The only set I probably won't part with.  I have a little back problem right now so maybe my time in "time-out" will help me come to my senses. Again the BB's are the easy answer but just can't seem to part with my MacGregor MT-Pro C's even though I haven't played them for about 4 years. I did however have them regripped recently.
