I went this weekend for an iron fitting at Tour Experience Golf in Toronto. They spent about an hour and half with me going through various options of clubheads and shafts. All data is from the GC2 monitor.
My current irons are TM SpeedBlades with Dynamic Gold S300 shafts.
In the chart below you can see how I did with the various options they gave me

You can see that I was definitely losing some distances with my current clubs, as my ball speed, height, carry and spin rates were well below what I could achieve. For each club:
- P770 - spun too much for me and flew a little too high. Also couldn't really ramp up the club and ball speeds
- Z565 - WOW! What an amazing club. Dispersion was very, very minimal (can't really show the distance dispersions, but trust me, that circle is tiny)
- Apex - didn't love the club. Ball really flew, but felt weird in my hands and didn't quite get anough spin.
- Apex Pro - WOW! Not quite as good on the dispersion numbers as the Z565, but the ball really jumped off the face
The fitter and I were torn between the Z565 and the Apex Pro. His recommendation was to lean to the Z565 due to the amazing dispersion numbers, which I agree with, but that 5 yards is quite enticing.
