anybody ask him what went wrong w/PXG?

It's not a coincidence that none of the PXG staffers are killing it on tour.  I heard that Zach Johnson's caddie is struggling to make ends meet.  Maybe Chris realized the arrows affect the Indian more than some people think.
If I remember correctly they can never get a driver to work for Zach, that’s certainly not helping a short distance guy.
I think that at least at one tournament last year Zack was gaming a Titleist driver where there were some painted silver dots along the sole to make it look like PXG weight screws.  At least to pass the glance test if it made it on TV.  Someone posted a pic I think it was maybe here or at another site.
Ryder cup?
Honestly I don't remember what tournament it was at I just remember having a good laugh when I saw it.

I guess this year is the year of the Scotty Cameron all black no paint fill putter. And this one is 360 grams. And the more I see these MP-18's  I might have to go demo soon.

Doesn't look beefy enough to be 360.  Would love to know head weight.

Capt has good taste!  Go dawgs!

Check the full bag photo. It’s got weights ported into the sole - almost certainly to get the head weight to 360

Good eye.  I was wondering if there wasn't a bit of tungsten in the bottom.

One of my employees was looking over my shoulder when I opened the thread and the words out of his mouth were "I would do some pretty questionable things for that putter" and I don't know that I can disagree with him.

Bent 3W?

Bending a glued 3W a little to get to certain specs isn't that uncommon for Tour players, but I'm surprised he went with the T13 and bent it back to what a standard M2 3W would have been.

Take some offset out of the head? Not that there is a lot in a 3w

They'll post on social media "This week's winner at the Safeway Open used our new MP-18 irons on his way to his third PGA TOUR win" but they won't use the name if they aren't under contract
Im suprisied Mizuno hasnt signed Vegas, Kopeka, and now Kirk.
True... but then they'd have to pay them...  They're getting pretty good free marketing right now as it is.
Their only staffers are Luke and Stacy right now to my knowledge

They added Lucas Glover and Nick Watney at the start of 2017.

Some Pros seem to go to Mizuno irons but far more to TM drivers. Why does Mizuno have so few players under contract? Who knows? If they do beat their chest over a few players using their sticks they can end up with egg on their face when those players pony up with a contract with somebody else. All in all I don’t think most guys don’t give a rip. Personally I have owned 5-6 sets of Mizuno out of 45 sets and indeed their great equipment but other do also.

But you have J Vegas, B Koepka, Vijay, J Smith, and about three others playing Mizuno irons (900 T, MP-4, MP-18) not on staff. In addition, I believe we will see an increase of staffers opting for more flexible contracts and an increase in Tour Pros choosing Mizuno irons (and TM woods).

Add another Tour Pro who's gone TM Woods and Mizuno Irons. Coincidence? I think not.

If you are attempting to make the implication that because Tour Pros use these clubs, we should move to them, let's remind ourselves that we are not Touring Pros. Get fit.

Putter was on fire yesterday, 23 putts on his way to a 8 under?  With his college alma mater on his hat nonetheless.  Self made journeyman.  Thanks PXG.  Gave the captain his soul back!

Add another Tour Pro who's gone TM Woods and Mizuno Irons. Coincidence? I think not.

If you are attempting to make the implication that because Tour Pros use these clubs, we should move to them, let's remind ourselves that we are not Touring Pros. Get fit.

I am not...I am stating that Mizuno make fantastic irons and TM make high performing woods.  The testament to a quality and high performing club is when Tour Pros choose them over any other when they have literally hundreds of brands to choose from.

Lastly, we are seeing an increase in this type of bag setup (TM and Mizuno).
